In this article, I shall examine how the personal names of the Finnish-speaking population of rural Finland, who themselves were generally unable to write, were written in Swedish equivalents in various documents in the 18th and 19th centuries, and how this influenced the formation of their identities. The advent of laws governing language towards the end of the 19th and in the early 20th century was manifested in official documents in which the authorities gradually started to write personal names in Finnish. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan psykoterapiaa kehollisena kohtaamisena ja kokemuksena. Artikkelissa esitellään tutkimustuloksia psykoterapian aikaisesta sanattomasta vuorovaikutuksesta ja pohditaan kehollisuuden merkitystä psykoterapiassa. Artikkelin pääsanoma on, että sanaton vuorovaikutus on keskeistä psykoterapiassa ja terapeutin tulee tiedostaa oma osallisuutensa sanattoman yhteistyösuhteen muodostumisessa. Terapeutin sanaton viestintä vaikuttaa empatian välittymiseen ja mahdollisesti jopa terapian vaikuttavuuteen. This special issue brings together empirical studies that investigate how bodily practices feature in action formation and action ascription in multilingual interaction (Schegloff, 2007; Levinson, 2013). Käsittelen pro gradu -tutkielmassani Laihian, Isonkyrön ja Vähänkyrön kirjastojen syksyllä 2009 alakoululaisille järjestämiä sanataidekerhoja. Tuon esiin niin osallistujien, kirjastotoimenjohtajien kuin ohjaajienkin eli minun ja sanataideohjaaja-kirjavinkkari Tarja Kosken näkemyksiä. Punaisena lankana työssäni kulkee kirjoittamisen ja lukemisen monisäikeinen yhteys. Tutkielmani on poikkitieteellinen katsaus, jossa on läsnä sekä kirjoittamisen tutkimuksen että kirjasto- ja informaatiotieteen näkökulma. Pilsētu sarukšana un stratēģiskie risinājumi ir plaši izpētīti lielajās pilsētās, bet ir ļoti maz pētījumu, kā šis process izpaužas un ietekmē mazās pilsētas (ar iedzīvotāju skaitu līdz 25 000), kurām pieder arī Kuldīga. Kopš 1999.gada iedzīvotāju skaits Kuldīgā ir samazinājies par 18,6% jeb 2449 iedzīvotājiem. Līdz ar to par darba mērķi tika izvirzīts izstrādāt priekšlikumus Kuldīgas pilsētai, balstoties uz līdzšinējiem sociālekonomiskajiem procesiem un labās prakses piemēriem Eiropā un citviet pasaulē.
