This Handbook is the result of several conversations and activities that took place during a blended in-service teacher education course “Everyday Creativity – Boosting the internal creative resources of European schools with Finnish models of education for creativity”. Characteristics of Intrapreneurs in Scale-Intensive Service Firms

This empirical paper explores the work of employees in charge of service innovation when firms develop and launch new scale-intensive services by addressing two research questions: i) How do employees responsible for service innovation work? and ii) what are the related managerial implications when developing and launching new scale-intensive services? To this end, 21 qualitative, in-depth interviews were conducted with employees in five large scale-intensive service firms. L’objectif de cet article est de proposer une approche comprehensive de la communication des organisations publiques a travers le cas des Caisses d’Allocations Familiales (CAF). Les travaux dont il est issu ont eu pour objet d’interroger les representations des cadres, charges de communication et directeurs des CAF autour de la notion d’institution communicante. Il s’agit notamment de preciser si celle-ci releve d’un artefact ou pourrait -et a quelles conditions- constituer un modele valide pour analyser la communication des organisations publiques.

The article presents Voluntary Labour Corps (OHP) as an educational institution of the labour market in Poland. It attends difficult, young people who are socially excluded. The OHP is seen as the institution of the second chance, which embraces the needs of young people in a competent and complex way. It concentrates on providing the youth with proper education and preventing them from further social exclusion. The institution undertakes actions to include the youth in normal, adult life. Research shows that it is effective in its work and more than half of the graduates obtain a stable professional and social position
