L'intégration sociale étudiante : relations et effets au sein des parcours de réussite en Licence

2017

Since 1970’s and 1980’s, educational research reveals the importance of interactional process in the explanation of student careers, especially with Tinto’s work (1975), by demonstrating the significant influence of social integration on student persistence in university. However, the effects on students’ academic success are rarely explored. Moreover, there is no consensus on the conceptualization of this explanatory factor since it shows different dimensions of social integration. From data collected from 1365 students enrolled in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade of common “Licence”, this research proposes firstly to improve measurement of student social integration as a multidimensional concept. T…

Proton-Hydrogen Charge Exchange and Elastic Scattering in the Faddeev Approach

2000

Results of the application of Faddeev-type integral equations to proton-hydrogen collisions are reported. The approach, realized in the impact parameter representation, incorporates the exact two-particle off-shell Coulomb T-matrices in all ‘triangle’ contributions to the effective potentials. Calculatedtotal and differential electron-transfer as well as differential elastic scattering cross sections show very good agreement with experiment, over a wide range of incident energies.

Integrated Design Optimization of a 5-DOF Assistive Light-weight Anthropomorphic Arm

2011

An integrated dimensional and drive train optimization method was developed for light-weight robotic arm design. The method deals with the determination of optimal link lengths and the optimal selection of motors and gearboxes from commercially available components. Constraints are formulated on the basis of kinematic performance and dynamic requirements, whereas the main objective is to minimize the weight. The design of a human-like arm, which is 10 kg in weight with a load capacity of 5 kg, is described. Design of a LLC Resonant Converter for Powering a PEM Electrolyzer

2021

International audience; This paper proposes the design of a LLC resonant converter to supply a proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer. The PEM requires a low voltage with high current, a reduced output voltage ripple, and an overdamped dynamic behavior of the converter to avoid voltage overshoots. The designed converter allows satisfying the design constraints, minimizing switching and reverse recovery losses; the efficiency is influenced mainly by the output rectifier's conduction losses.
