Pervasive access to MRI bias artifact suppression service on a grid.

Bias artifact corrupts magnetic resonance images in such a way that the image is afflicted by illumination variations. Some of the authors proposed the Exponential Entropy Driven - Homomorphic Unsharp Masking (E2D-HUM) algorithm that corrects this artifact without any a priori hypothesis about the tissues or the Magnetic Resonance image modality. Moreover, E2D-HUM does not care about the body part under examination and does not require any particular training task. Unbounded derivations and *-automorphisms groups of Banach quasi *-algebras

This paper is devoted to the study of unbounded derivations on Banach quasi *-algebras with a particular emphasis to the case when they are infinitesimal generators of one parameter automorphisms groups. Both of them, derivations and automorphisms are considered in a weak sense; i.e., with the use of a certain families of bounded sesquilinear forms. Conditions for a weak *-derivation to be the generator of a *-automorphisms group are given.

Operators which have a closed quasi-nilpotent part

We find several conditions for the quasi-nilpotent part of a bounded operator acting on a Banach space to be closed. Most of these conditions are established for semi-Fredholm operators or, more generally, for operators which admit a generalized Kato decomposition. For these operators the property of having a closed quasi-nilpotent part is related to the so-called single valued extension property.

We study the operators of differentiation and of integration and the Hardy operator on weighted Banach spaces of entire functions. We estimate the norm of the operators, study the spectrum, and analyze when they are surjective, power bounded, hypercyclic, and (uniformly) mean ergodic.

Niewątpliwie zaawansowanej eksploracji wymaga jej pełne zrozumienie naukowe, dlatego celem niniejszego tekstu jest ustalenie źródeł i natury samego zjawiska zróżnicowanej integracji, przegląd głównych koncepcji analitycznych i wskazanie podstawowych mechanizmów nim rządzących. Tekst, metodą analizy deskryptywnej, oferuje również wnioski na temat potencjalnych konsekwencji postępujących procesów zróżnicowania integracji europejskiej.

Artykuł koncentruje się na normatywnym, instytucjonalnym i operacyjnym projekcie Unii Europejskiej jako obszarze, w którym znaczna część bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego jest zapewniana właśnie przez najnowsze technologie i wielkoskalowe systemy informacyjne. Następnie przechodzi się do analizy wyzwań prawnych wynikających z tworzenia systemu tzw. inteligentnych granic (ang. smart borders), tj. granic opartych na zautomatyzowanej kontroli granicznej oraz interoperacyjności wszystkich wielkoskalowych systemów informatycznych.
