Long-lived particles (LLPs) show up in many extensions of the Standard Model, but they are challenging to search for with current detectors, due to their very displaced vertices. This study evaluated the ability of the trigger algorithms used in the Large Hadron Collider beauty (LHCb) experiment to detect long-lived particles and attempted to adapt them to enhance the sensitivity of this experiment to undiscovered long-lived particles. A model with a Higgs portal to a dark sector is tested, and the sensitivity reach is discussed. The problem is highly pertinent because NOMA is a well-recognized technique for future mobile radio systems. During the refereeing process of papers submitted to NAMRC 46 this year, nine high-quality papers have been selected and fast-tracked to a special issue of Journal of Manufacturing Processes (JMP) entitled “Advancing Manufacturing Processes Research at NAMRC 46”. The selection of the fast-track papers was based on authors’ preferences, quality of the papers, reviewers’ recommendations, Track Chairs’ picks, pre-selection by the Chair of NAMRI/SME Scientific Committee, and final approval by the JMP Editor. On ordered categories as a framework for fuzzification of algebraic and topological structures

Using the framework of ordered categories, the paper considers a generalization of the fuzzification machinery of algebraic structures introduced by Rosenfeld as well as provides a new approach to fuzzification of topological structures, which amounts to fuzzifying the underlying ''set'' of a structure in a suitably compatible way, leaving the structure itself crisp. The latter machinery allows the so-called ''double fuzzification'', i.e., a fuzzification of something that is already fuzzified.
Categorically algebraic topology versus universal topology

This paper continues to develop the theory of categorically algebraic (catalg) topology, introduced as a common framework for the majority of the existing many-valued topological settings, to provide convenient means of interaction between different approaches. Motivated by the results of universal topology of H. Herrlich, we show that a concrete category is fibre-small and topological if and only if it is concretely isomorphic to a subcategory of a category of catalg topological structures, which is definable by topological co-axioms.
Fuzzy tuning systems: the mathematics of musicians

We present some mathematical properties which determine tuning methods. We introduce the concept of fuzzy tuning systems and we analyze four of the systems coexisting within the current orchestras: Pythagorean, Just Intonation, Holder's and Equal Temperament systems. We show that the theoretical and practical tuning methods are the same. We introduce the idea of compatibility between tuning systems and we give some sufficient conditions to determine an appropriate number of notes into which the octave must be divided.
