Les déterminants de la charge de travail perçue dans deux services d’urgence hospitaliers en France

Resume Cet article restitue une recherche sur la charge de travail des soignants dans les services hospitaliers des urgences, a travers des facteurs lies aux patients et a l’activite. A partir de 121 observations realisees dans deux hopitaux, couplees a l’echelle du NASA-TLX et un questionnaire ad hoc, cette recherche indique que les elements les plus contributifs des variations de charge de travail percue sont le comportement agite des patients et les difficultes de communication liees au handicap. The individuals’ interest in preventing everyday accidents and crises : A Swedish explorative study of the importance of motivation

This explorative study presents an empirical examination of the connection between motivation and the measures individuals take to prevent everyday accidents and prepare for crises. Positional factors (age and gender) and situational factors (education, size of locality, and household composition) are included because the literature highlights their importance. The study used data gathered in a 2010/2011 poll of randomly selected Swedish residents aged 16–75 (N = 2000; 44.8% response rate). A factor analysis reduced the theoretical model for situational motivation (Guay, Vallerand, & Blanchard, 2000) from four to two dimensions: motivation and amotivation. Avoiding minorities: Social invisibility

Three experiments examined how self-consciousness has an impact on the visual exploration of a social field. The main hypothesis was that merely a photograph of people can trigger a dynamic process of social visual interaction such that minority images are avoided when people are in a state of self-reflective consciousness. In all three experiments, pairs of pictures—one with characters of social minorities and one with characters of social majorities—were shown to the participants.
