Innocampus Explora: Nuevas formas de comunicar ciencia
2019
[EN] Innocampus Explora aims to show the students of the Burjassot-Paterna campus of the Universitat de València how the different scientific degrees are interrelated. To do this we propose activities in which students and teachers work together to cover the interdisciplinary nature of science, both in everyday and professional issues. Throughout this course the activities developed relate to new ways to communicate science. With the development of this project we contribute to a transversal quality education for all the participating students.

Interdisciplinary dynamics and generic conventions: the case of Clinical Ethics Committees
2023
In recent years, Clinical Ethics Committees (CECs) have become increasingly istitutionalised by way of a growing belief that they play an important role in successfully helping health care professionals to address ethical dilemmas. The majority of members have a medical or nursing background, with an increasing number of legal members, lay, and religious representation, and discuss a variety of issues that might arise in clinical settings, from Withholding and Withdrawing Treatment and Do Not Resuscitate Orders, to Advance Directives and Confidentiality, to name just a few. In this regard, the UK Clinical Ethics Network (UKCEN) was established in 2001 to provide support for the growing numb…
A public dataset of overground walking kinetics in healthy individuals
2018
The dataset comprises raw kinetic data (both in .mat and .txt) of 128 healthy subjects (52 female, 76 male; M age: 23.8 years, SD 9.1; M body height: 1.76 m, SD 0.08; M body mass: 71.3 kg, SD 13.0; M body mass index: 22.9 kg/m², SD 2.8; M gait speed: 1.33 m/s, SD 0.13) during overground walking. All subjects met the inclusion criteria, which meant that during the study, they were free of lower extremity pain or injuries. In addition, before and during the study, they were free of any gait pathology. The .mat-file 'gait_grf_subject.mat' includes six 128x1 double variables containing one row value for each of the 128 subjects: subject_id [number] subject_gender [1 = "female" ; 0 ="male"] subj…

Data for: Business models of FinTechs - Difference in similarity?
2021
This dataset contains data that was used in the paper titled "Business models of FinTechs – Difference in similarity?".The data is mainly based on the input obtained through surveys, which were carried out in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Russia amongst local FinTechs from February 2019 to January 2020. This file contains anonymised results of the survey. Responses to questions, which were not of relevance to the paper and contained more sensitive data on the companies, have been removed from this file. Some fields (variables starting dc_, dt_ and vp_) have been backfilled following the survey by the authors of the final paper. The file contains also many figures which ha…

2012
a b s t r a c t Aim: To analyze the distribution of the production, repercussion and co-authorship of articles on smok- ing in the "respiratory system" category through the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) and their inclusion in the first quartile of the Journal Citation Report (JCR).
