Publikācija “Vingrošana” tapusi sagaidot augstskolas 100. jubileju 2019. gadā un tā veltīta LU sportam. Par godu šim notikumam veidota arī virtuāla izstāde “Pēc mirkļa 100 gadi: LU Sports”. Rakstā atspoguļots viens no LU sporta veidiem – vingrošana, tā attīstība no LU dibināšanas 1919. gadā līdz 2018. gadam. Futbola aizsākumi Latvijas Universitātē ir meklējami tālajā 1923. gadā, kad “Akadēmiskā sporta biedrība” (ASB) futbola komanda startēja Rīgas čempionātā. Tomēr aktīvi futbolu universitātē sāka spēlēt pēc “Universitātes sporta” komandas izveidošanās, kad studenti 1935. gadā tika līdz virslīgas čempionātam, kā arī iekļuva Latvijas kausa finālā 1937. gadā un tajā paša gadā Studentu olimpiādē Parīzē ieguva bronzu. The execution of the Granada Metropolitan’s underground line made possible the discovery of archeological remains of a water tank in Alcázar Genil, a royal muslim residence of the 13th century. The water tank, 419 × 88 ft, was destroyed at its ends due to the growth of the city of Granada during the 20th century and today remains only its center section, under Camino de Ronda, exactly where the future Metropolitan will take place. The location of an underground station will allow the recovery, the integration and the exhibition of the archaeological remains of this water tank. Bandgap lowering in mixed alloys of Cs2Ag(SbxBi1−x)Br6 double perovskite thin films

Halide double perovskites have gained significant attention, owing to their composition of low-toxicity elements, stability in air and long charge-carrier lifetimes. However, most double perovskites, including Cs2AgBiBr6, have wide bandgaps, which limit photo conversion efficiencies. The bandgap can be reduced through hallowing with Sb3+, but Sb-rich alloys are difficult to synthesise due to the high formation energy of Cs2AgSbBr6, which itself has a wide bandgap. We develop a solution-based route to synthesis phase-pure Cs2Ag(SbxBi1-x)Br6 thin films, with the mixing parameter x continuous varying over the entire composition range.
