Films and semisolid hydrogels containing chitosan alone (2%) or in combination with gelatin (6%) or different proportions (from 12% to 36%) of tetrakis-(hydroxymethyl)-phosphonium-chloride (THPC) were tested as delivery systems. In my previous studies, many performers referred to the importance of gazing behavior or eye contact. Positron Studies of Subsurface Zone in Titanium Created in Sliding Wear

Positron annihilation studies of the subsurface zone constituted during dry sliding in pure titanium are reported. A new type of defect depth profile in this zone, which is not an exponential decay usually reported for other metals and alloys, is observed. Two layers in the subsurface zone are present in this metal. In the layer adjacent to the worn surface, the characteristic plateau of the mean positron lifetime that extends to a depth of 60–70 μm was observed. Small vacancy clusters and dislocations were recognized in this layer. At deeper zone, the mean positron lifetime decreased exponentially in the manner typical for the other metals. The current state of development of project Kanki is discussed and some prospects for future development are laid out with reflection on the results of the research IT infrastructure project at the University of Jyväskylä. Kanki is a crossplatform native iRODS client application which was introduced to the iRODS community at the iRODS Users Group Meeting in 2015, and later released as open source. A total of 9 releases have been made, from which the latest 6 have been available in addition to the source code as pre-built binary packages for x86-64 CentOS Linux 6/7 and OS X 10.10+. Effects of menu structure and touch screen scrolling style on the variability of glance durations during in-vehicle visual search tasks.

The effects of alternative navigation device display features on drivers' visual sampling efficiency while searching forpoints of interest were studied in two driving simulation experiments with 40 participants. Given that the number of display items was sufficient, display features that facilitate resumption of visual search following interruptions were expected to lead to more consistent in-vehicle glance durations. As predicted, compared with a grid-style menu, searching information in a list-style menu while driving led to smaller variance in durations of in-vehicle glances, in particular with nine item displays.
