La storia insegna che il passato a volte giunge a noi attraverso un’azione di “invenzione”, proprio nel significato del termine latino invenire (trovare) che restituisce il senso della “scoperta”, cioè del sollevamento del velo dell’oblio su un tempo dimenticato. Los avatares de un cuadro: arte y literatura en El sueño de Venecia de Paloma Díaz-Mas y El velázquez de París de Carmen Boullosa

En El sueño de Venecia de Paloma Díaz-Mas y en El velázquez de París de Carmen Boullosa, el protagonismo recae en un cuadro y los avatares sufridos por el mismo a lo largo de la historia. El propósito de este estudio es analizar la manera en que el rastreo de la historia de estos cuadros en ambas novelas genera reflexiones de índole pictórica y literaria sobre la naturaleza del arte, el proceso de creación, el carácter de la recepción e interpretación artísticas y el papel de la memoria y el arte tanto pictórico como literario en la recuperación o invención del pasado.

The article argues ?from the Deleuzian concepts of society of control, moulding and modulation and the Rosean theory on the economization and medicalization of life? that the expansion of the concept of health in terms of integral and subjective well-being is the effect of a socio-historical shift in the way we relate to this signifier, and therefore to our bodies and ourselves.
