Amelia Rosselli (1930-1996) è stata una delle voci più originali della poesia italiana del secondo dopoguerra. La sua prima vocazione fu quella musicale, cui dovette rinunciare per un combinato di eventi; ma la musica è rimasta un continuo riferimento in tutta la sua produzione poetica. Il saggio inizialmente ricostruisce la formazione e la produzione critica in campo musicale di Amelia Rosselli, per poi identificare nella sua poesia la cifra squisitamente musicale.

Monandrous species are rare in nature, especially in animals where males transfer nutrients to females in the ejaculate. The proximate mechanisms responsible for monandry are poorly studied. In butterflies and moths, the male transfers a nutritious spermatophore into the corpus bursae (CB) of the female. The CB is a multifunctional organ that digests the spermatophore and has partial control of the post-mating sexual receptivity of the female. The spermatophore distends the CB and the post-mating sexual receptivity of the female is inversely proportional to the degree of distension. After a brief review of the recent acquisition in some native genera of family Asteraceae from southern Italy and Sicily, a new endemic species of Anthemis (sect. Hiorthia) is described from Sicily and named Anthemis parlatoreana. The locus classicus of the new taxon, falling in the NW Tyrrhenian coast of the island (Castellammare del Golfo, Trapani), coincides with that of Ptilostemon greuteri, another endemic very rare species of the Sicilian flora. Data on the morphology, distribution, ecology and conservation status of the new species are provided.
