A grotesque "puppet": Pirandello's dissonances in the writing of Laura Di Falco Laura Di Falco's novel, Le tre mogli (The Three Wives), published by Rizzoli in 1967, sinks in to the Sicilian literary tradition which, as Natale Tedesco writes, condenses the investigation of disturbances of the conscience and of epochal disturbances into the "essayistic-reflexive" figure, of which Luigi Pirandello proves to be an exemplary interpreter. Late Pliocene and Pleistocene small mammal chronology in the Italian peninsula

The abundant documentation of small mammals in the Italian peninsula, collected over recent years, furnishes a detailed biochronological sequence mainly from the Late Pliocene onwards. An updated stratigraphic framework is here presented, based on the European small mammal biozonation. The Early Villanyian is characterized by Mimomys hassiacus, M. stehlini, and, later, poorly documented M. polonicus. The Late Villanyian localities are well characterized with M. pliocaenicus, M. pitymyoides and M. tigliensis. The older part of the Early Biharian is documented by assemblages containing Microtus (Allophaiomys) ex gr. pliocaenicus, M. pusillus, M. cf. ostramosensis and M. tornensis, while the l…

Through the analysis of some poems of the vast production of Pier Paolo Pasolini I try to summarize some traits of the expressiveness of the poet, circumscribing its contours within the terms of the generational dialectic. A dialectic that assumes the features of an unresolved confrontation that sees the Poet withdrawing, self-exclusion, renouncing integration and beating the path of the outcast, who nourishes the victim's myth and assumes the connotations of the scapegoat to the extreme. In the complex symbolic network that Pasolini intertwines with reality, the relationship with the Mother and the Father takes on a peculiar meaning because it defines the impossibility of a transgeneration…
