An important problem in measuring the impacts of business subsidies is their separation from deadweight, which refers to changes that would have occurred even in the absence of intervention. Both public and private assessments have been used previously to study deadweigh, but so far little is known about how they correspond to each other. To address this issue we conducted a joint evaluation of the private and public assessments of deadweight for Finnish business projects. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to provide a comprehensive review of the literature that links auditor’s industry specialization (AIS) and audit fees (AFs) in order to clarify the puzzle of published results and provide overall conclusions that would help in future research. Design/methodology/approach To achieve this goal, the authors applied meta-analysis techniques in order to summarize, quantify and evaluate the published data related to the association between AIS and AF. The Let's End HepC (LEHC) tool aims to contribute to the control of hepatitis C. In this paper we design an artificial financial market where endogenous volatility is created assigning to the agents diverse prior beliefs about the joint distribution of returns, and, over time, making agents rationally update their beliefs using common public information. Both SP-A and C1q contain collagen-like regions, and SP-A and C1q have some structural similarities, both having a globular head region and a collagen-like tail. The aim of this paper is to give a rapid and concise guide for the diagnostic procedures frequently used in internist's clinical practice. Thoracentesis, paracentesis and arthrocentesis were analyzed as regards to indications, contraindications, procedure of execution and interpretation of findings. Addressed to the young physician, the present paper could also be useful as a rapid guide for the experienced physician which does not frequently use these procedures.
