Celem artykułu jest próba przedstawienia relacji Górnego Śląska z Małopolską i Krakowem w okresie międzywojennym. Relacje te rozwijały się na kilku płaszczyznach: gospodarczej, społecznej, kulturowej. Artykuł niniejszy dotyczy ich pewnego wycinka, a mianowicie śląsko-małopolskiego sporu granicznego jaki wywiązał się między środowiskami politycznymi obu regionów o przywództwo i dominację na obszarze Polski południowej. Podstawową bazę źródłową artykułu stanowi prasa, przeważnie krakowska, warszawska, śląska, nigdy dotąd w takim stopniu nie wykorzystana. Pro gradu -tutkielmani tavoitteena oli selvittää, minkälaista keskustelua kuvataiteesta käytiin osana peruskoulun opetussuunnitelmauudistusta. Tutkimuksen aineistona olivat perusopetuksen tuntijaon uudistamistyöryhmälle vuosina 2009-2012 toimitetut lausunnot, jotka ottivat kantaa tuntijakoon kuvataiteen osalta. Aihe oli ajankohtainen, sillä vuonna 2009 alkuun laitettu peruskoulun tavoitteiden ja tuntijaon uudistustyö toimi pohjana vuonna 2016 käyttöönotetulle valtakunnalliselle peruskoulun opetussuunnitelmalle. Locked in Inferiority? : The Positions of Estonian Construction Workers in the Finnish Migrant Labour Regime

Abstract The aim of this article is to analyse how different policies and actors have structured the current migrant labour regime in the Finnish construction sector and to discuss the consequences for migrants. Our study shows that a strong industrial relations system such as in Finland is able to curb the posting of workers regime (the most disadvantageous for migrant workers). The position of labour migrants has become more diverse in the segmented labour market, although it remains inferior compared to that of the natives. Abstract A protein capture assay was used to measure 14-3-3 (γ-isoform) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of patients with either variant or sporadic Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (CJD). The results were compared with those obtained using Western blotting. Elevated levels of 14-3-3γ were found in 58% of variant CJD (vCJD) patients and 82% of sporadic CJD (spCJD) patients using the protein capture assay. Using a Western blotting technique, the presence of CSF 14-3-3γ was detected in 58% of vCJD patients and in 89% of spCJD patients. In clinical practice signal hyperintensity in the cortex and/or in the striatum on magnetic resonance (MR) diffusion-weighted images (DWIs) is a marker of sporadic Creutzfeldt–Jakob Disease (sCJD). MR diagnostic accuracy is greater than 90%, but the biophysical mechanisms underpinning the signal abnormality are unknown. The aim of this prospective study is to combine an advanced DWI protocol with new mathematical models of the microstructural changes occurring in prion disease patients to investigate the cause of MR signal alterations.
