This article explores the question of the importance of the phenomenological method in Karl Jaspers’ psychopathological writings and highlights a deep continuity between the human understanding of the early writings and his later existential philosophy. The article aims to place Giuseppe Cantillo’s studies collected in his latest two books, focused respectively on Hegel and dialectics and Jaspers and existence, in the overall research itinerary of the Italian philosopher. The paper seeks to highlight the coherence and conceptual openness of Cantillo’s investigation of history, the human being’s existential conditions, as well as of its theological implications. Pētījuma ietvaros patība tiek skatīta kā dotums, ar tam piemītošu potencialitāti. Darba novitāte ir padziļināts skatījums patības īstenošānās procesā caur komunikāciju, kas tiek konfrontēts robežsituācijās. Attiecībā uz patības un komunikācijas problemātikas iespējamiem risinājumiem, tiek pievērsta uzmanība Karla Jaspersa filosofijai aktuāliem jautājumiem šifru, dēmoniskā un transendences jēdzienu perspektīvā.

L?articolo pone in discussione le riflessioni di tipo ontologico avanzate da correnti attuali di filosofia analitica, mostrando l''inconsistenza storica di una distinzione tra ontologia e metafisica soprattutto con riguardo alle filosofie di Platone, Aristotele e S. Tommaso. Vengono peraltro messi in luce gli equivoci che portano a intendere la metafisica quale pensiero tecnico espressivo di una volontà di dominio come avviene in Heidegger e nei suoi epigoni.
