The Abelian Kernel of an Inverse Semigroup

The problem of computing the abelian kernel of a finite semigroup was first solved by Delgado describing an algorithm that decides whether a given element of a finite semigroup S belongs to the abelian kernel. Steinberg extended the result for any variety of abelian groups with decidable membership. In this paper, we used a completely different approach to complete these results by giving an exact description of the abelian kernel of an inverse semigroup. An abelian group that gives this abelian kernel was also constructed.

Tutkielmassa esitellään sovelluskerroksella tapahtuvia hajautettuja palvelunestohyökkäyksiä eli DDoS-hyökkäyksiä, niiden havaitsemista ja niiltä suojautumista. Lisäksi perehdytään yksityiskohtaisemmin salatuissa yhteyksissä tapahtuvaan hyökkäysten havaitsemiseen. Tarkoituksena on tarjota kattava tietopaketti sovelluskerroksesta ja sen taustana olevista protokollista, palvelunestohyökkäyksistä, DDoS-hyökkäysten havaitsemiseen liittyvästä viimeaikaisesta tutkimuksesta sekä hyökkäyksiltä suojautumisesta. Mielenterveysongelmiin liittyy korostunut häpeän tunne. Erityisesti mielisairaalaan joutuminen on monelle häpeällinen kokemus, josta on vaikeaa puhua. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastelen mielisairaalaan liittyvää häpeää psykiatristen sairaaloiden potilaiden ja heidän omaistensa kirjoittamien muistojen valossa. Artikkeli pohjautuu Suomalaisen Kirjallisuuden Seura ry:n Muistoja ja kokemuksia mielisairaaloista –muistoaineistoon, joka on kerätty 90 eri kirjoittajalta vuosina 2014-15. Muistoista vanhin sijoittuu 1930 –luvulle ja tuoreimmat 2010 –luvulle. Frigyes Hidas (1928–2007) oli unkarilainen säveltäjä, muusikko ja kapellimestari. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan hänen toimintaansa ensisijaisesti säveltäjänä ja lisäksi siihen sisältyy kattava teoslista. Hidasista ei ole aiemmin tehty elämäkerrallista tutkimusta, joten tämä tutkielma toimii tien avaajana sellaiselle. Tutkielmassa aihetta lähestytään paitsi elämäkerrallisen tutkimuksen avulla, myös narratiivisen tutkimuksen ja muistitietotutkimuksen sekä mikrohistorian kautta. Aineisto koostuu pääasiassa haastatteluista, radio-ohjelmien nauhoitteista ja lehtiartikkeleista. Aineistoa on analysoitu paitsi sisällönanalyysin avulla, myös narratiivisen analyysin keinoin.
