For coincidence experiments with the three-spectrometer setup at MAMI an experiment control and data acquisition system has been built and was put successfully into final operation in 1992. MECDAS is designed as a distributed system using communication via Ethernet and optical links. At the front end, VMEbus systems are used for real time purposes and direct hardware access via CAMAC, Fastbus or VMEbus. RISC workstations running UNIX are used for monitoring, data archiving and online and offline analysis of the experiment. Extraversion and performance approach goal orientation : An integrative approach to personality

Abstract Research shows that extraversion is unrelated to performance approach goal orientation, both at the trait- and the state-level. However, since previous studies have either focused on the trait- or the state-level, such a conclusion may be premature. Building upon the idea that acting against one’s trait consumes self-control resources, we reason that within-person deviations from one’s level of trait extraversion might negatively relate to performance approach goal orientation. Pētnieciskajā darbā tiek analizēta vēstījuma paņēmieni, kas izmatoti dažādu tēlu raksturojumam F.S. Ficdžeralda romānā ,,Lielais Getsbijs”. Teorētiskajā daļā ir veikts literatūras pārskats par naratoloģiju un tēlu raksturojumu. Praktiskā daļa tiek fokusēta uz F.S. Ficdžeralda romāna ,,Lielais Getsbijs” analīzi, iekļaujot stāstījuma tehniku, kas izmantota tēlu raksturojumam F.S. Ficdžeralda romānā ,,Lielais Getsbijs”. Darbu noslēdz secinājumi, kas ir balstīti uz teorētisko avotu un F.S. Ficdžeralda romāna ,,Lielais Getsbijs” analīzi. A First Experiment on Including Text Literals in KGloVe

Graph embedding models produce embedding vectors for entities and relations in Knowledge Graphs, often without taking literal properties into account. We show an initial idea based on the combination of global graph structure with additional information provided by textual information in properties. Our initial experiment shows that this approach might be useful, but does not clearly outperform earlier approaches when evaluated on machine learning tasks.

Latviešu valodā. Darbā apkopota informācija par dažādiem fosfātu eksprestestiem, fosfātu ekstrakcijas metodēm no augsnes, augsnes paraugu ņemšanas principiem un dažādām fosfātu noteikšanas metodēm. Eksperimentālajā daļā pārbaudīta fosfātu ūdens eksprestestu izmantošana dažādiem augsnes paraugu ekstraktiem, kas iegūti ar dažādiem ekstrahentiem.
