Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīti primārie jeb tieši ar pasūtījumu izpildi saistītie biznesa procesi mēbeļu nozares uzņēmumā „RIPO Fabrika”. Darbā identificēti vairāki problēmaspekti šī uzņēmuma biznesa procesos. Galvenokārt tie saistīti ar nepietiekamu savstarpēju koordināciju starp dažādām uzņēmuma struktūrvienībām pasūtījumu pieņemšanas gaitā, kas nereti rezultējas ražošanas ceha pārslodzē, kā arī – ar pieeju, kas neļauj savlaicīgi identificēt kļūdas ražošanas procesā. Tas neveicina sadarbību ar klientiem un rada zaudējumus pašam uzņēmumam. The paper presents the 5S method, developed to ensure ergonomics in the workplace, productivity growth, reducing defects and increasing cleaning. 5S is a fundamental tool to promote continuous improvement process in organizations and represents a transformation in 5 steps of a job, which is characterized by maximum efficiency at the micro level and minimum loss. The tools which can be used for implementing could be the Kaizen circles for training, analysis and implementation, as well as visual elements, posters or graphics. The impact of Kaizen Events on improving the performance of automotive components' first-tier suppliers

Purpose - The aim of this paper is to explore the possibility of improving production indicators by implementing Kaizen Events. The teams are composed of both managers and operators with the aim of developing and/or implementing improvements in three to five days. Methodology - The empirical research will consists of the description of the results obtained in 11 industrial companies from the automotive components industry.
