<title>Shallow electron traps in alkali halide crystals: Mollwo-Ivey relations of the optical absorption bands</title>

Evidences are given that two classes of the transient IR- absorption bands: (a) with max. at 0.27-0.36 eV in NaCl, KCl, KBr, KI and RbCl (due to shallow electron traps according G. Jacobs or due to bound polarons according E.V. Korovkin and T.A. Lebedkina) and (b) with max. at 0.15-0.36 eV in NaI, NaBr, NaCl:I, KCl:I, RbCl:I and RbBr:I (due to on-center STE localized at iodine dimer according M. Hirai and collaborators) are caused by the same defect- atomic alkali impurity center [M+]c0e- (electron e- trapped by a substitutional smaller size alkali cation impurity [M+]c0). Narrative Tools for Games : Focalization, Granularity, and the Mode of Narration in Games

This article looks at three narratological concepts—focalization, granularity, and the mode of narration—and explores how these concepts apply to games. It is shown how these concepts can be used as tools for creating meaning-effects, which are understood here as cognitive responses from the player. Focalization is shown to have a hybrid form in games. This article also explores the different types of narrators and granularities in games, and how these three concepts can be used to create meaning-effects. This is done by discussing examples from several games, for example, Assassin’s Creed III, Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, and Civilization.

International audience; A repeatable bidirectional paramagnetic ↔ diamagnetic photomagnetic effect has been observed in the cyanide-bridged Fe-Co square complex {[Fe{B(pz)(4)}(CN)(3)](2)[Co(bik)(2)](2)}(ClO(4))(2)*3H(2)O [B(pz)(4) = tetrapyrazolylborate, bik = bis(1-methylimidazol-2-yl)ketone]. Magnetic measurements and low-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiments have shown that a complete electron transfer from the diamagnetic Fe(II)-Co(III) state to the paramagnetic Fe(III)-Co(II) metastable state is induced by 808 nm laser light irradiation, whereas the diamagnetic state is recovered in an almost quantitative yield under irradiation at 532 nm.

Maģistra darbā “Nelokālas spēles ar konfliktējošām interesēm” tiek apskatīta kvantu mehānikas nelokalitāte un nelokālu spēļu jēdziens. Tiek apskatīta plaši zināmā CHSH spēle, kurā spēlētājiem ir kopīgas intereses un citas spēles, kurās spēlētāju intereses ir konfliktējošas. Tiek aprēķināti iespējamie laimesti, izmantojot klasiskās un kvantu stratēģijas. Darbā arī tiek izveidotas jaunas nelokālas spēles ar konfliktējošām interesēm papildus literatūrā jau aprakstītajām, un parādīts, ka arī tajās kvantu stratēģijas var dot ieguvumus.

Bakalaura darbā “Eiropas un Latvijas atvērto datu portālu analīze un salīdzinājums” tiek apskatīti Eiropas un Latvijas atvērto datu portāli. Atvērtie dati ļauj palielināt valstīm valsts pārvaldes caurspīdīgumu, veicināt uzņēmējdarbību un ir izmantojami inovatīvu produktu radīšanā. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir atrast Eiropas atvērto datu portālos datu kopas, kuras vēl nav pieejamas Latvijas atvērto datu portālā un noskaidrot, kas ir to turētāji Latvijā. Analizējot valsts politiku ir jānoskaidro šķēršļi jaunu datu kopu atvēršanai. Rezultātā ir izstrādāti priekšlikumi par jaunām datu kopām, ar kurām papildināt Latvijas atvērto datu portālu. Java koda atkalizmantošana ar Hunter

Daudzos gadījumos programmatūras izstrādātājam ir vajadzīga funkcionalitāte, kuru jau sniedz kāda trešās puses bibliotēka. Šajā gadījumā ir vēlams atkārtoti izmantot pastāvošo kodu, nevis izstrādāt to no jauna. Hunter ir rīks, kas atvieglo koda atkalizmantošanu ar saistīto metožu meklēšanu datu bāzē un nepieciešamo koda apvalka automātisko sintēzi. Darbā tiek izpētīts programmatūras atkalizmantošanas jēdziens un rīks Hunter. Bakalaura darbs ir sadalīts trīs nodaļās. Pirmajā nodaļā notiek koda atkalizmantošanas jēdziena definīcija un atkalizmantošanas veidu klasifikācija. Otrajā nodaļā ir Hunter rīka augsta līmeņa apraksts. Trešajā nodaļā ir Hunter rīka eksperimentāls pētījums un rezultāti.

In situ measurements have been the basis for monitoring volcanic gas emissions for many years and—being complemented by remote sensing techniques—still play an important role to date. Con- cerning in situ techniques for sampling a dilute plume, an increase in accuracy and a reduction of detection limits are still necessary for most gases (e.g., CO2, SO2, HCl, HF, HBr, HI). In this work, the Raschig-Tube tech- nique (RT) is modified and utilized for application on volcanic plumes.
