Reason in Vital Experience in Ortega Y Gasset

Ortega nourished himself from two intellectual sources, Marburg’s Neo Kantianism and Husserl’s Phenomenology. He confesses his link with Kantianism, when he says that for ten years he lived inside Kantian thought. But his thought evolved through the influence of various philosophical trends from the realm of pure philosophy to others nearer to life. In his search for the roots of reason, he passed from pure reason to an impure (vital and historical) form of reason, which we will name globally “the reason of vital experience” in our context.

There is no contradiction between Kant’s statement that the proposition, “every alteration has its cause,” is of no interest to the Critique of Pure Reason because of its dependence on empirical contents (KrV, B 3) and his use of the same proposition as an example of pure a priori knowledge (KrV, B 5). There is only the arduousness and sometimes also the ambiguity of a passage in which Kant attempts to establish a new basis for the validity of the principle of causality.

Die deutschen Idealisten waren der Auffassung, Kant habe mit seiner transzendentalen Umwälzung der Begründungsproblematik eine Revolution in der philosophischen Denkungsart in Gang gesetzt, die es weniger aufzuhalten als vielmehr dadurch zu vollbringen gelte, daß die Voraussetzungen oder ‚Fundamente‘ der Kantischen Philosophie selbst kritisch in den Blick genommen würden. In the present paper, we study a new type of Bernstein operators depending on the parameter \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$\lambda\in[-1,1]$\end{document}λ∈[−1,1]. The Kantorovich modification of these sequences of linear positive operators will be considered. A quantitative Voronovskaja type theorem by means of Ditzian–Totik modulus of smoothness is proved. International audience; Blumenberg’s phenomenology of the history of concepts couldn’t overlook Kantian inventions to escape the dead ends of metaphysics. Kant constitutes a decisive help in mapping the ruptures of Modern Age. On the one hand, the cosmogonical essays of the precritical period illustrate reason’s typically modern self-assertion. On the other hand, the transcendental turn stands for a radicalization of Modern Age towards the Enlightenment. But Blumenberg also pays attention to what, in Kant, disturbs the modern project of reason’s self-authorization. Transcendental philosophy always calls for a new beginning, because it anticipates its possible failure.

Vapaa-ajankalastus on Suomessa hyvin suosittua ja sitä harjoitetaan kaikilla järvialueilla. Kalastuksen kohteena on yleensä useita kalalajeja ja käytössä on useita eri kalastustapoja, hyvin yleisesti myös verkkoja. Vapaa-ajankalastus muodostaa uhan useiden lajien kestävyydelle ja erityisesti se estää uhanalaisen järvilohen ja vaarantuneen järvitaimenen kantojen palautumisen. Nämä lajit taantuivat vesivoiman rakentamisen seurauksena.

Fonnesu analizza l'interessante tematica della 'Verwirklichung' all'interno della filosofia classica tedesca. Nel contesto della tensione tra la 'Gesinnung' kantiana e la 'politische Gesinnung' hegeliana, l'autore focalizza la sua attenzione sul concetto di seconda natura, la storia fenomenologica della coscienza e la felicità empirica in Fichte ed Hegel. Con un rinnovato approfondimento delle nozioni kantiane di 'Praktische' e 'Materie', 'Welt' e 'Glückseligkeit' l'autore rivendica l'attenzione del filosofo di Königsberg al raggiungimento concreto della moralità.
