Al2O3 ALD films grown using TMA + rare isotope 2H216O and 1H218O precursors

In this work hydrogen and oxygen migration and exchange reactions in the atomic layer deposited (ALD) Al2O3 thin films were studied together with hydrogen incorporation by varying deposition parameters. Al2O3 films deposited at low temperatures can contain more than 20 at. % of hydrogen. Both higher temperature and longer purge length decrease the hydrogen and carbon concentrations significantly. In order to track the hydrogen and oxygen movement in the films, heavy water (2H216O) and oxygen-18 enriched water (1H218O) were used as precursors in combination with trimethylaluminium (TMA). Kieli-ideologiat ovat kieltä, sen käyttämistä ja käyttäjiä koskevia diskursiivisia määritelmiä ja kuvauksia. Vaikka kieli-ideologiat ovat juurtuneet historiallisiin käyttöyhteyksiin, ne ovat kuitenkin aina lokaalisesti tuotettuja ja yksilöllisesti koettuja. Ne siis rakentuvat sekä yksilöllisesti että yhteisöllisesti. Tarkastelen tässä artikkelissa saamen kieliin ja monikielisyyteen liittyviä kieli-ideologioita yhden monikielisen inarinsaamenpuhujan kertomana ja kokemana. Interrelating agency, autonomy and identity in foreign language learning

Foreign language (FL) learning is increasingly examined in terms of the language learning person’s agency, autonomy and identity. What agency refers to in FL learning and how it relates to autonomy and identity nevertheless remains unclear. As theoretical discussions about the interconnections are ambiguous, more empirical evidence is needed. The present article addresses this need, contributing to a fuller understanding of the three notions in FL education. Finnish-Swedish artist and writer Tove Jansson (1914–2001), widely known as the author of the Moomin books, was born in Helsinki and resided there for the greater part of her life. The city features as a setting for her adult-oriented fiction – notably, semi-autobiographical fix-up novels Sculptor’s Daughter (1968/2015) and Fair Play (1989/2011). This article adopts a situated approach to literary geography, examining the researcher’s own position as a Helsinki resident and a ‘situated’ reader.
