Abstract: Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is an autosomal recessive genetic disease caused by mutations in the CFTR gene, coding for the CFTR chloride channel. About 10% of the CFTR gene mutations are "stop" mutations, which generate a Premature Termination Codon (PTC), thus synthesizing a truncated CFTR protein. A way to bypass PTC relies on ribosome readthrough, which is the ri-bosome’s capacity to skip a PTC, thus generating a full-length protein. “TRIDs” are molecules exerting ribosome readthrough; for some, the mechanism of action is still under debate. In the last few years, electrical power generation is moving from a centralized generation towards distributed generation including on-site Renewable Energy Sources (RESs). In order to overcome RES related issues, as intermittent and fluctuating power, storage elements are included in the on-site generation system. The interaction between distributed generator (DG) units including RES, storage and front-end power converters should be carefully modeled in order to analyze the power system stability. Through a special examination of some features of the text commonly referred to as Fragmentum Dositheanum, the author argues that, despite the reference in a paragraph to the knowledge of ‘regulae’, the classical jurisprudential work from which the fragment is taken was not a book of regulae, but an elementary work of a close scholastic nature; moreover, according to the author, this scholastic work might be Gaius’ Res cottidianae.

After a worrying decrease of the rate of vaccination, Italian Parliament has enacted the law 119/2017 which raises the number of mandatory vaccination and prohibits unvaccinated children, except those for medical reasons, to attend infant school. In this paper, I focus on the moral justification of antivaccinist groups by applying the account of conscientious objection provided by Raz and followed by Gascón Abellan and Saporiti. According to this conception, conscientious objection is a moral right insofar as it is an instance of a right to privacy, which entails the right to do wrong. Se esiste una “natura umana”, che impone vincoli a ciò che gli uomini possono fare o desiderare, allora esiste verosimilmente un nocciolo di desideri che tutti gli esseri umani hanno, che, verosimilmente, non possono non avere e che non possono desiderare in senso forte di non avere. Il contributo prova a iniziare una riflessione sul nome in Goliarda Sapienza (Catania 1924- Gaeta 1996), a partire dal suo difficile rapporto con il nome personale, documentato sin dalla sua prima opera (Lettera aperta, Garzanti 1967) e poi anche nel romanzo dal carcere (L’Università di Rebibbia, Rizzoli, 1983).
