Resonance frequency breathing (RFB) is a form of slow breathing at around six breaths/min, whose immediate effects are to substantially increase heart rate variability (HRV) and to reduce stress levels. Since RFB has already been successfully used on its own to treat various emotional disorders, we wanted to evaluate its effect on emotional processing when used as a preparatory intervention in improvisational music therapy. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kartoittaa yhtiössä tapahtunutta musiikkituotantoa eri tekijöiden kautta. Tutkielman aiheena on suomalaisten puurakenteisten valmistalojen arkkitehtuuri ja kehitys 1980-luvulta 2000-luvulle. Koska aihetta ei ole tutkittu, tutkielman tavoitteena on saada ilmiöstä kokonaiskuva. Valmistalot ovat näkyvä osa suomalaista rakennettua ympäristöä, sillä teollisesti tuotetuista omakotitaloista tuli tutkittavana ajanjaksona suosituin omakotirakentamisen muoto. Tutkimusaineistoon kuuluu 45 talokuvastoa puutaloteollisuuden eri toimijoilta sekä kolme toimitettua talo-opasta. Abstract Background Body mass index (BMI) may not be an optimal predictor of frailty as its constituents, lean and fat mass, may have opposite associations with frailty. Methods A linear mixed model analysis was performed in the Helsinki Birth Cohort Study (n = 2 000) spanning from 57 to 84 years. A 39-item frailty index (FI) was calculated on three occasions over 17 years. Body composition in late midlife included BMI, percent body fat (%BF), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), lean mass index (LMI), and fat mass index (FMI).
