The Interplay of Contact Layers: How the Electron Transport Layer Influences Interfacial Recombination and Hole Extraction in Perovskite Solar Cells.

Charge-selective contact layers in perovskite solar cells influence the current density–voltage hysteresis, an effect related to ion migration in the perovskite. As such, fullerene-based electron transport layers (ETLs) suppress hysteresis by reducing the mobile ion concentration. However, the impact of different ETLs on the electronic properties of other constituent device layers remains unclear. In my Master’s thesis I explore the political reasons behind Kazakhstan’s Almaty Astana capital relocation and the creation of the new capital Astana with new and futuristic architecture. The strategy is to analyse Kazakhstan’s capital relocation and Astana’s creation and beautification by applying Kenneth Burke’s concepts of the Dramatistic Pentad and the Idea of the Negative. Crystallizing metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) has been studied using a tripodal pyridinecarboxylic acid derivative ligand and selected lanthanoid salts. The zwitterionic ligand, 1,1′,1′′-((2,4,6-trimethylbenzene-1,3,5-triyl)tris(methylene))tris(pyridin-1-ium-4-carboxylate) (TTTPC) introduced as a bromide salt, forms coordination networks in aqueous environments and under ambient conditions with neodymium bromide, trifluoromethanesulfonate (OTf) or acetate (OAc). Seven structures are elucidated in detail using single crystal X-ray crystallography. Zircon ages and Nd–Hf isotopes in UHT granulites of the Ider Complex: A cratonic terrane within the Central Asian Orogenic Belt in NW Mongolia

Abstract The Ider Complex of the Tarbagatai Block in northwestern Mongolia is part of a Precambrian microcontinental terrane in the Central Asian Orogen Belt and has experienced a polymetamorphic tectono-metamorphic evolution. We have investigated an enderbitic gneiss, derived from a quartz diorite and a charnockite, derived from a leucogranite, and zircon SHRIMP data reveal late Archaean protolith ages of 2520–2546 Ma for these rocks. Metamorphic overgrowth on these zircons as well as newly-formed metamorphic zircons document a high-temperature metamorphic event (T = 930–950 °C) at about 1855–1860 Ma.
