I hvilken grad er deres seksualundervisning med på å annengjøre homofili og hvordan kan homofili normaliseres? Master's thesis in Global Development and Planning (UT505) This master thesis explores migrant women’s experiences with the maternal health care system in Norway, using a qualitative research strategy. It is based on interviews conducted with migrant women living in Kristiansand, who have given birth in Norway, as well as interviews with health workers in the maternal health service. The migrant women shared their personal experiences from pregnancy to childbirth whiles the health workers also gave their personal experiences related to providing antenatal and post-natal care. The selected non-governmental organisation’s mission is to eradicate poverty by empowering grassroots-level women using holistic approaches and participatory development. This research is a qualitative case study by interviewing 41 participants over the telephone after making exploratory field visits in Hambantota and Monaragala districts in Sri Lanka.
