This article aims to investigate how ‘knowledge-related human capital’ can be accumulated, i.e. created, shared and transferred, in family business over time. ‘Knowledge-related human capital’ is considered to be a combination of pure knowledge and skill, which family and non-family members working in the family firm have gained and developed through education and experience. Two wine producing family firms from Switzerland and a liqueur family firm from Italy are part of this research. Abstract Introduction Collaboration between SDU and two Saudi Arabian (KSA) Universities started in 2012. Case 1 was a new public university for women; the contract (until spring 2017) aimed at knowledge transfer from SDU to two Bachelor of Science curricula (Epidemiology, and Health Education and Promotion). The aim was to train the trainers by teaching the 1st student cohort 100% by the SDU staff and for later cohorts to increase the teaching by local staff gradually. The SDU teams travelled to KSA to run 1-month courses at a time. This article presents the conditions of creating a system for implementing recommendations from evaluation studies which were conducted within the cohesion policy in Poland. Revisiting rainfall to explore exam questions and performance on CS1

The Rainfall problem comprises small tasks that have been used to investigate student performance in introductory programming. We conducted several kinds of analyses to inform our understandings of student performance in CS1 relating to this problem. We analyzed implementation approaches and program errors, as in related studies, and also explored the role of test writing vis-a-vis the most common student error.
