Background. Labia minora hypertrophy is a congenital or acquired condition in which both labia minora (or more rarely only one) protrude beyond the edge of the labia majora. The authors present a surgical technique of volumetric reduction of hypertrophic labia minora, associated with lipofilling of the labia majora. Methods. Between 2005 and 2014, 27 patients underwent surgical reduction of labia minora, as described by Altier and Rouzier. The economic impact of migration: productivity analysis for Spain and the UK

Over the past 20 years labour has become increasingly mobile and whilst employment and earnings effects in host countries have been extensively analysed, the implications for firm and industry performance have received far less attention. This paper explores the direct economic consequences of immigration on host nations’ productivity performance at a sectoral level in two very different European countries, Spain and the UK. Whilst the UK has traditionally seen substantial immigration, for Spain the phenomenon is much more recent. Using Finnish micro-level data, this paper maps out whether migration decisions can be affected by income policy interventions. The analysis focuses on individuals living in peripheral regions and distinguishes peripheral migration from growth-centre migration. Dealing with spatial data pooled over time in statistical models

Recent developments in spatial econometrics have been devoted to spatio-temporal data and how spatial panel data structure should be modeled. Little effort has been devoted to the way one must deal with spatial data pooled over time. This paper presents the characteristics of spatial data pooled over time and proposes a simple way to take into account unidirectional temporal effect as well as multidirectional spatial effect in the estimation process. An empirical example, using data on 25,357 single family homes sold in Lucas County, OH (USA), between 1993 and 1998 (available in the MatLab library), is used to illustrate the potential of the approach proposed.

A compilation of previously published and unpublished absolute age (OSL and TL) determinations of aeolian sediments from the north-eastern part of European Sand Belt. Contains age, error, sampling depth, location etc. and a reference to data source. Coordinates of sampling locations for contemporary publications are taken from field observations (GPS), but older ones - published schematic maps. Data set is created according to schema of DATED-1 database (https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.848117).

Validación cruzada de la estructura factorial de una medida multidimensional de la ansiedad laboral

En el presente estudio se realiza una replicación del trabajo de Espejo (1993), con el objetivo de estudiar la estabilidad de la estructura factorial del Cuestionario de Ansiedad Laboral (C.A.L.) en una muestra multiocupacional (n=142). También se analizan las propiedades psicométricas de cada una de las subescalas hipotetizadas. Los resultados muestran, por una parte, que la estructura factorial hipotetizada presenta un ajuste ligeramente inferior en el presente estudio (SR = 0.114), y por otra, que las saturaciones de los ítems incluidos en la dimensión cognitiva son las más estables, mientras que las de los ítems de la dimensión conductual son las más inestables.
