Badania empiryczne uwzględniające elementy socjalizacyjno-wychowawcze dotyczyły świadomości młodych ludzi w zakresie wybranych elementów życia rodzinnego i wpływu na ich postępowanie. Wpisują się one w ciąg badań prowadzonych w tym środowisku od dwudziestu lat.
Refamilisation in the broadband society – the effects of ICTs on family solidarity in Finland

In this article we explore the effects that new information and communication technologies (ICTs) have on family relations in Finland. The idea of ‘new connectivities’ works as a starting point for the study directing attention to ICT-mediated forms of being together with distant family members. The research data consists of 22 student reports encompassing a total of 133 informants from extended Finnish families. Extended group interview (EGI) technique was developed and used for data collection in order to grasp the underlying social practices and values behind the use of ICTs in extended families. The present study aims to provide a further contribution to the knowledge about the mechanism of price formation concerning olive orchards and vineyards in a land market of south-west Sicily. Firstly the main characteristics of a sample concerning 42 land properties recently sold in Partanna territory were surveyed and afterwards their relationships between the most relevant among them and the correspondent market prices (both total and unitary sales prices) were investigated through the Multiple Regression Analysis. Medikamentu uzglabāšana un utilizācija ir aktuāla mūsdienās, jo patērētāju zināšanas šajā jomā ir vājas: pacients nav informēts, kā pareizi uzglabāt medikamentus mājas apstākļos un kā pareizi tos utilizēt. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot vai Latvijas iedzīvotāji zina, kā pareizi uzglabāt un utilizēt medikamentus, un vai viņi to dara pareizi. Bakalaura darba uzdevumi bija apkopot literatūru par medikamentu uzglabāšanu un utilizāciju, apkopot informāciju par medikamentu uzglabāšanu un utilizāciju regulējošajiem normatīvajiem aktiem Latvijā un citās valstīs, kā arī aptaujāt farmācijas speciālistus un iedzīvotājus par medikamentu uzglabāšanu un utilizāciju.

Robust Selective Stereo SLAM without Loop Closure and Bundle Adjustment

This paper presents a novel stereo SLAM framework, where a robust loop chain matching scheme for tracking keypoints is combined with an effective frame selection strategy. The proposed approach, referred to as selective SLAM (SSLAM), relies on the observation that the error in the pose estimation propagates from the uncertainty of the three-dimensional points. This is higher for distant points, corresponding to matches with low temporal flow disparity in the images. Comparative results based on the reference KITTI evaluation framework show that SSLAM is effective and can be implemented efficiently, as it does not require any loop closure or bundle adjustment.
