Maza apmēra prasības ir viens no prasības tiesvedības veidiem Civilprocesa likumā. Darba ietvaros pētīts maza apmēra prasību mērķis un galvenās iezīmes, salīdzinot Latvijas regulējumu ar Eiropas Savienības un Igaunijas regulējumu. Autore pēta ne tikai teoriju, bet arī problēmas maza apmēra prasību praksē. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt atsevišķus problēmjautājumus, piedāvājot tiem iespējamos risinājumus. Pētījuma ietvaros autore vērš uzmanību prasības pieteikumu veidlapu nepilnībām, aizkavēšanām tiesu lietās un prasības summas robežu palielināšanas nepieciešamībai kā arī citiem jautājumiem. It examines the culture and contextualization of the virtual worlds for children used for the purpose of informal education through learning games in the case study of JumpStart World Kindergarten. Resolving reading disability : Childhood predictors and adult-age outcomes

We examined frequency of adult‐age reading disability (RD) and its childhood predictors among 48 adults (20 to 39 years) with documented childhood RD, and contrasted their cognitive skills, education, and employment with 37 matched controls. Among individuals with childhood RD, more than half had improved in their reading fluency to the level where the set criterion for adult‐age RD was not met anymore. More fluent rapid naming, less severe childhood RD, and multiple support providers in childhood together predicted improvement of reading fluency. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan ryhmähaastatteluaineiston avulla lapsi- ja perhepalveluiden ammattilaisten asiantuntijuutta suhteessa kokemusasiantuntijuuteen. Tutkimuksessa havaittiin kolme erilaista ammatillisen asiantuntijuuden muotoa. Ensimmäinen asiantuntijuuden muoto nimettiin yhteistyöasiantuntijuudeksi, mikä viittaa asiakkaiden kanssa yhteiseen tiedonmuodostukseen ja toimintaan. The study aims were to (1) identify perceived motor competence (PMC) and actual motor competence (AMC) profiles in children at two time points (early and middle childhood) 3 years apart, (2) explore transitions between the profiles from T1 to T2, and (3) investigate how PMC-AMC profiles at T1 differ in their mean values for AMC and PMC variables at T2. The purpose of this article is to introduce some features of the relationship between proverbs and gender in Finnish folklore tradition. I focus on pedagogical speech using proverbs in the life-stories from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The main interest is on bringing up children concentrating on the written memories and the everyday life of ordinary people. This deals with the private level of education in childhood memories.
