Esiopetusvuoden palvelukokonaisuudet lasten hyvinvoinnin ja yhdenvertaisuuden näkökulmista

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää, millaisia palvelukokonaisuuksia esiopetusikäisten opetuksen ja hoidon järjestelyt Suomessa muodostavat sekä tarkastella niitä lasten hyvinvoinnin sekä keskinäisen yhdenvertaisuuden näkökulmista. Hyvinvoinnin kuvaajina käytetään vuorovaikutukseen vaikuttavia tekijöitä sekä opetuksen ja hoidon pysyvyyttä. Tutkimukseen haastateltiin puhelimitse varhaiskasvatuksen esimiehiä kymmenessä eri kunnassa. Tulokset osoittavat, että kunnissa on käytössä suuri määrä erilaisia esiopetusikäisten opetuksen ja hoidon palvelukokonaisuuksia. Although professional agency has become an increasingly crucial issue in work organizations, investigators lack a brief instrument to measure it. This paper introduces a short measure to explore professional agency at work. Our aim was to shorten the original 17-item Professional Agency Measure, while also exploring its usability for cross-validating questionnaire datasets, and investigating the relationship between professional agency and work engagement. Children's Voices and their Impact-Case Study in Romania

Abstract This research evaluates if the voices of children in Romanian preschools are heard and proposes new educational policy in order to train practitioners for preschools. The purpose of the study is to involve practitioners and parents in the Early Years in an experimental training program called: “Voices of children in Romania”. We discovered that according to the traditional attitudes of Romanian parents and practitioners, children's voices are rarely taken into consideration. After the new training program was put into practice in preschools and homes, teachers and parents started to give more attention to children's voices and children's wellbeing was improved.

Enhancing Metastability by Dissipation and Driving in an Asymmetric Bistable Quantum System.

The stabilizing effect of quantum fluctuations on the escape process and the relaxation dynamics from a quantum metastable state are investigated. Specifically, the quantum dynamics of a multilevel bistable system coupled to a bosonic Ohmic thermal bath in strong dissipation regime is analyzed. The study is performed by a non-perturbative method based on the real-time path integral approach of the Feynman-Vernon influence functional. We consider a strongly asymmetric double well potential with and without a monochromatic external driving, and with an out-of-equilibrium initial condition. The capability to generate and manipulate quantum states in high-dimensional Hilbert spaces is a crucial step for the development of quantum technologies, from quantum communication to quantum computation. One-dimensional quantum walk dynamics represents a valid tool in the task of engineering arbitrary quantum states. Here we affirm such potential in a linear-optics platform that realizes discrete-time quantum walks in the orbital angular momentum degree of freedom of photons. Direct democracy allows citizens to reverse decisions made by legislatures and even initiate new laws which parliaments are unwilling to pass, thereby, as its proponents argue, leading to more representative policies than would have obtained under a purely representative democracy. Yet, turnout in referendums is usually lower than in parliamentary elections and tends to be skewed towards citizens of high socio-economic status.
