In-situ characterisation of aerosol and gases (SO 2 , HCl, ozone) in Mt Etna volcano plume
2015
International audience; We present findings from a measurement campaign that deployed a range of in-situ real-time atmospheric measurement techniques to characterise aerosols and gases in Mt Etna plume in October 2013. The LOAC (Light Optical Aerosol Counter) instrument for size-resolved particle measurements was deployed alongside two Multi-Gas instruments (measuring SO 2 , H2S, HCl, CO 2) and an ozone sensor. Measurements were performed at the summit craters (in cloudy-and non-cloudy conditions) and in grounding downwind plume on the volcano flank. These high frequency measurements (acid gases: 1 to 0.1 Hz, aerosol: 0.1 Hz) provide a detailed in-situ dataset for time-resolved plume charac…

Marquage de molécules biologiques par des complexes de radiométaux à base de polyamines macrocycliques
2012
This work conducted at the “Institut de Chimie Moléculaire de l’Université de Bourgogne” carries at first on the synthesis of bifunctional chelating agents suitable for the chelation of trivalent radiometals, including indium-111. The greater part of this work was then dedicated to the grafting of a DOTA derivative bifunctional chelating agent on different antibodies or fragments of monoclonal antibodies: trastuzumab (anti-HER2 treatment of breast cancer), cetuximab (anti EGFR, treatment of many cancers, including colorectal cancer) and abciximab (antiplatelet). Particular attention was paid to the characterization of various immunoconjugates. The critical step of this thesis consisted in t…
Influence de différentes pratiques agricoles sur la qualité et la santé des sols : étude de cas sur des vergers slovènes irrigués ou en agriculture b…
2011
Underestimation of soil properties and poor understanding of soil conditions can have many negative consequences, which results in quality or quantity of yield, soil degradation or even environmental pollution. According to importance of agricultural practices, our study focused on their impact on soil quality and health. The research took place from November 2003 to October 2007 in apple orchards in north-eastern Slovenia where two frequent agricultural practices were investigated: (i) drip irrigation on Calcaric Cambisol and its effects on structural stability and microbial biomass at Gačnik experimental station and (ii) combination of organic fertiliser (Campo guano) and liming in organi…
Autumn herbicides, an efficient chemical tool against ergot of grasses
2013
Maktheshim Agan France analyzed 14 weeding trials, carried out in 2011-2012, to identify the indirect effect of weeding on the development of ergot. Field trials were set up on straw cereals (rye, wheat and triticale), with a contamination of ergot sclerotia and artificial infestation of grassy weeds susceptible to sulfonylureas. Two herbicides: isoproturon and chlortoluron, used alone or followed by a sulfonylurea, were compared to untreated control. All the assessments show that herbicides decreased the amount of sclerotia and even more the alkaloid content in harvest. This effect was higher with the herbicide program (urea applied in autumn /sulfonylurea at the end of winter). This study…
Incidence des graminées adventices sur l'ergot des céréales
2013
Several species of Claviceps, mainly Claviceps purpurea may develop during cereals growth in place of grains or on the grass weeds head. These fungi may produce sclerotia with alkaloids inside, unsafe for the whole harvest. In order to help growers and grain collect organizations to support good practices, several years trials have been followed up. Synthesis for those data allows to identify strong grass weeds incidence, mainly for black-grass and ryegrass on ergot of cereal contamination, multiplication and maintain.
