Is the sustainability profile of FinTech companies a key driver of their value?

[EN] The digitisation process is affecting all markets and raising consumer awareness about companies' sustainable behaviour. This work studies the effect of the sustainability profile of FinTech companies on the firm (market value and book value) as the factors that add value to investors and motivate their evolution in markets are still unknown. Using the KBW and Nasdaq FinTech Indices, and the NASDAQ Insurance Index (IXIS), we composed a panel of 95 companies over a 10-year period (2010-2019) with economic-financial variables and data about green certificates and sustainability indices. A rare family of six discrete binuclear [PdCl(PEt3)2] phenylene ethynylene rods with alkoxy side chains (methoxy, ethoxy and heptoxy) have been developed, and their solid-state photoluminescence results have been presented and discussed. The shorter bridging ligands are of the general formula H–CuC– C6H2(R)2–CuC–H, where R = H, OCH3, OC 2H5, and OC7H15, whereas the longer ones are based on H– CuC–C6H4–CuC–C6H2(R)2–CuC–C6H4–CuC–H, where R = OCH3, OC 2H5. Pre‐instrumental summer precipitation variability in northwestern Greece from a high‐elevation Pinus heldreichii network

The spatiotemporal variability of precipitation is of vital importance to Mediterranean ecology and economy, but pre‐instrumental changes are not well understood. Here, we present a millennial‐length June–July precipitation reconstruction derived from a network of 22 Pinus heldreichii high‐elevation sites in the Pindus Mountains of northwestern Greece. Tree‐ring width chronologies from these sites cohere exceptionally well over the past several hundred years (r1467–2015 = 0.64) revealing coherence at inter‐annual to centennial timescales across the network.
