Wykorzystanie środków unijnych a realizacja założeń nowego modelu wspomagania szkół i nauczycieli na przykładzie Ośrodka Doskonalenia Nauczycieli w K…

2017

Doskonalenie nauczycieli to jeden z kluczowych czynników poprawy jakości edukacji często poddawany ewaluacji. W artykule zamieszczone zostały wyniki badań, wnioski i rekomendacje.

Isolated Metachronous Splenic Metastasis from Colon Cancer: Possible Explanations for This Rare Entity

2017

The incidence of splenic metastases secondary to colorectal cancer is very low; these lesions have been more frequently reported as secondary to breast, lung, and ovarian cancer. Splenic metastases are particularly common in melanoma; their incidence has been reported as being as high as 34% at autopsy [1]. Most cases of secondary splenic metastases have been described in patients with tumors of the left colon while only few cases being reported as originating from right colon tumors (Table 1). The finding of a splenic mass in the absence of a history of malignancy suggests a primary lesion (lymphoma, hematoma, etc.), while a history of oncological disease raises the possibility of a second…

Assessment of the frequency of additional cancers in patients with splenic marginal zone lymphoma

2006

Abstract: Objectives: Solid second primary cancers (SPC) have become an issue of extensive research. The purpose of the present study was to estimate the standardised incidence ratio (SIR) and the absolute excess risk (AER) of SPC in patients with splenic marginal zone lymphoma (SMZL). Methods: We investigated the incidence of additional cancers in 129 patients consecutively diagnosed with SMZL in three Italian haematological centres, asking the cooperating doctors for additional information on initial and subsequent therapies and on the onset and type of second cancers. Results: Twelve SPC were recorded (9.3%); the 3- and 5-yr cumulative incidence rates were 5.5% and 18.3% respectively, wi…

The Assessment of Second Primary Cancers (SPCs) in a Series of Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma (SMZL) Patients

2006

The purpose of this study is to estimate the risk of second primary cancer (SPC) in 129 consecutive patients with splenic marginal zone lymphoma (SMZL) diagnosed in three Italian haematological centres. The person-years method deriving as a sum of products of age- and sex- specific rates and of the corresponding time at risk was used. The SPC Standardized Incidence Ratio (SIR) was 2.03 with a 95% confidence interval: [1.05, 3.56] (p < 0.05) and the corresponding Absolute Excess Risk (AER) was 145.8 (per 10000 SMZL patients per year). Our findings evidence a high frequency of additional cancers in patients with SMZL and suggest that the incidence rate of SPCs is significantly different from …

Electrical and photovoltaic properties of indium‐tin‐oxide/p‐InSe/Au solar cells

1987

Conditions for efficiency improvement and optimization in indium‐tin‐oxide/p‐indium‐selenide solar cells are discussed in this paper. This aim is achieved by using low‐resistivity p‐indium‐selenide and by incorporating a back‐surface‐field contact. This contact is insured by a p‐indium selenide/gold barrier whose rectifying behavior is explained through the complex impurity structure of p‐indium‐selenide. Electrical and photovoltaic properties of the cells are also reported. The efficiency parameters under AM1 simulated conditions have been improved up to 32 mA/cm2 for the short‐circuit current density, 0.58 V for the open‐circuit voltage, and 0.63 for the filling factor. As a result, solar…

Synthesis of an enantiopure 2-arylcyclohexanols from prochiral enol acetates by an enantioselective protonation/diastereoselective reduction sequence

2003

Abstract The enantioselective protonation with 2-sulfinyl alcohols of lithium enolates of 2-arylcyclohexanones with different substituents on the phenyl group takes place with excellent enantioselectivities (89–99%). Chiral 2-phenylcyclohexanone and 2-arylcyclohexanones carrying electron donor substituents on the aromatic ring are converted into the corresponding trans -2-arylcyclohexanols by diastereoselective reduction with sodium naphthalenide in the presence of acetamide. The stereochemical integrity of the tertiary stereocenter is fully preserved using this reduction procedure. Interestingly, the chiral proton source is not consumed in the synthesis.

The application of the photoacoustic transmittance oscillations for determining elastic constants in gallium and indium selenides

1996

Transmittance periodic oscillations are observed in GaSe and InSe on excitation with optical pulses. Such oscillations are explained in terms of photoacoustic generation of dilatational waves, which become resonant within the crystal. Spectral analysis of those oscillations in samples of different thickness has led to an accurate determination of the longitudinal acoustic‐wave velocity along the crystallographic axis c. Mileniārisms un mesiānisms Osmaņu impērijā 17. gadsimtā

2017

Šabtajs Cvi arī Amira jeb Mehmets Efendi (מחמט אפנדי, 1626-1676) bija Izmirā dzimis Osmaņu impērijas sefardu kabalists, kurš apgalvoja, ka ir mesija. 17. Gadsimtā viņš kļuva par masu kustības līderi, kurā bija iesaistītas daudzas ebreju kopienas ne tikai Osmaņu impērijā, bet arī kristīgajā Eiropā. Kustība gandrīz izbeidzās, kad Šabtajs Cvi pieņēma islāmu. Līdz ar Šabtaju Cvi islāmā pārgāja daļa viņa tuvāko līdzgaitnieku, izveidodami denmu sektu. 20. gadsimtā denmiem bija būtiska ietekme gan jaunturku, gan Ataturka kustībā. Šabtaja Cvi kustība ir aplūkota plašā Osmaņu impērijas reliģijas vēstures kontekstā.
