Hunting Law regulations strictly determines which males of quarry species may be harvested during the season. The age and the antlers of the individual play here an important role. The exceptions are the individuals with malformed and long spiked antlers, that is in a form significantly different from the desirable forms described in guidelines by the Chief Hunting Council. Anomalies in shape, structure and size of antlers are obligatory condition for harvesting the individual. Conformations and Energetics of Sulfur and Selenium Diimides

The geometries and energetics of different conformations of sulfur and selenium diimides E(NR) 2 (E = S, Se; R = H, Me, 'Bu, C 6 H 3 Me 2 -2,6, SiMe 3 ) have been studied by using various ab initio and DFT molecular orbital techniques. The syn,syn conformation is found to be most stable for parent E(NH) 2 , but in general, the preferred molecular conformation for substituted chalcogen diimides is syn,anti. In the case of E(NH) 2 the present calculations further confirm that syn,syn and syn,anti conformations lie energetically close to each other. Artykuł najpierw ukazuje kilka teorii ilustrujących wpływ Jana Kalwina na współczesne społeczeństwo, by następnie skoncentrować się na ściśle teologicznym dziedzictwie jego nauki. Wyliczono sześć płaszczyzn widocznych wpływów. Związane są one z rozwojem kapitalistycznej gospodarki, etyką pracy, procesami demokratycznymi w polityce, purytanizmem, ortodoksją i neo-ortodoksją reformowaną oraz teologią wyzwolenia.
Stalin’s critique of the idea of the class character of language

Shedding light on the different Soviet linguistic approaches to the phenomenon of the class character of language, this paper shows that Stalin’s 1950 critique of Nikolaj Marr’s views echoed criticism that had already been addressed to Marr by his contemporaries. The idea of the class character of language did not amount to a single coherent theory, in Soviet linguistics, of social and linguistic structures, but in many cases remained an abstract theoretical construct. Even if some linguists manifestly subscribed to the Marrist dogma, it did not immediately follow that the idea of the class character of language had exerted significant influence on the actual analysis of language material. …

The purpose of this research was to examine the relationships between selected personality dimensions and occupational burnout among professional and volunteer firefighters. Difficult conditions are the cause of loss of not only health but also life. Such working conditions may cause occupational burnout consisting of employee’s exhaustion. This paper addresses the tsunami propagation and subsequent coastal areas flooding by means of a depth-integrated numerical model. Such an approach is fundamental in order to assess the inundation hazard in coastal areas generated by seismogenic tsunami. In this study we adopted, an interdisciplinary approach, in order to consider the tsunami propagation, relates both to geomorphological characteristics of the coast and the bathymetry.
