Muon-capture strength functions in intermediate nuclei of 0νββ decays

Capture rates of ordinary muon capture (OMC) to the intermediate nuclei of neutrinoless double beta (0νββ) decays of current experimental interest are computed. The corresponding OMC (capture-rate) strength functions have been analyzed in terms of multipole decompositions. The computed low-energy OMC-rate distribution to 76 As is compared with the available data of Zinatulina et al. [Phys. Rev. C 99, 024327 (2019)]. The present OMC computations are performed using the Morita-Fujii formalism by extending the original formalism beyond the leading order. Nuorten salibandypelaajien nuuskan käyttö ja siihen yhteydessä olevat tekijät

Suomalaisten nuorten tupakointi on vähentynyt, kun taas nuuskakokeilut ja nuuskan käyttö ovat lisääntyneet. Aiempien tutkimusten mukaan nuuskan käyttö on yleistä myös urheilijoiden keskuudessa. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin nuorten salibandypelaajien nuuskakokeiluja ja nuuskan käyttöä sekä siihen yhteydessä olevia tekijöitä. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin sähköisellä kyselylomakkeella joulukuun 2016 ja tammikuun 2017 välisellä ajalla. Kyselyyn vastasi 449 pelaajaa (poikia 302, tyttöjä 147, keski-ikä 16,7 vuotta). This paper deals with convergence analysis of the extended Kalman filters (EKFs) for sensorless motion control systems with induction motor (IM). An EKF is tuned according to a six-order discrete-time model of the IM, affected by system and measurement noises, obtained by applying a first-order Euler discretization to a six-order continuous-time model. This paper offers insight into learning Slovak in an e-learning environment. The need to reach distance-learners of Slovak led to the implementation of a web-based course on Slovak language and culture in 2008–2010. The pedagogical basis of the course, called Virtual Slovak, is the socioconstructivist approach to teaching and learning, in which the focus is on the development of learners’ communicative competence. This teaching experiment led to a study in which the focus was on learners’ beliefs and experiences regarding learning Slovak in an e-learning environment.
