Low power nodes have been a hot topic in research, standardization, and industry communities, which is typically considered under an umbrella term called heterogeneous networking. In this paper we look at the problem of deploying optimally low power nodes in the context of relay networking, when an operator connects low power nodes (or small cells) via the wireless backhaul that uses the same spectrum and the same wireless access technology. Device-to-device (D2D) communications has recently gathered significant research interest due to its efficient utilization of already depleting wireless spectrum. In this article, we considered a scenario where D2D users communicate in the presence of cellular users in an overlay network setup. In order to analyze the revenue of service providers in monetary terms, the paper provides exact expressions of operator profit for both D2D and cellular users. Therefore, it is essential to explore the factors affecting radio link quality in order to mitigate their impact and to adapt to varying conditions. In this paper, we study the effects of temperature and humidity on radio signal strength in outdoor wireless sensor networks. High-precision measurement of the mass difference between 102Pd and 102Ru

Abstract The Q-value for the neutrinoless double electron capture on 102Pd, Qϵϵ(102Pd), is determined as the atomic mass difference between 102Pd and 102Ru. A precise measurement of the Qϵϵ(102Pd) at the SHIPTRAP Penning trap showed a more than 10σ deviation to the adopted Atomic Mass Evaluation (AME) value. The reliability of the SHIPTRAP measurement was challenged because the AME value was based on numerous experiments including β and electron capture decays and very precise (n, γ) data, all agreeing with each other. Abstract Although students' affects and behaviors in achievement situations have been shown to be influenced by their previous learning experiences, less is known about how they relate to students' dispositional characteristics, such as temperament. This study examined to what extent children's temperament is related to their affective and behavioral responses in achievement situations. Teachers rated first-graders' ( n  = 153) temperamental characteristics in the Fall semester.
