The Helium Cooled Pebble Bed (HCPB) Test Blanket Module (TBM) to be tested in ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) Reactor foresees the utilization of Lithiate ceramics as Tritium breeder in form of pebble beds. Since 1998, ENEA has launched many experimental activities for the evaluation of the breeder thermomechanics and the interaction between the pebble beds and the prismatic steel containment walls. Electrosynthesis of Sn-Co nanowires in alumina membranes

A fabrication process of amorphous nanowires of Sn-Co alloys, based on electrodeposition into anodic alumina membranes, is described. It is shown that nanowires of tin-cobalt alloys with different compositions can be produced by varying electrodeposition time and concentration ratio of salts dissolved into the electrolytic bath. Importance of the chelating agent to produce amorphous Sn-Co alloys has also been addressed. Electrodepositions were carried out potentiostatically at -1 V versus Saturated Calomel Electrode and 60 degrees C for times ranging from 10 to 90 minutes; the atomic fraction of Co2+ in the aqueous electrolyte (Co2+/(Co2+ + Sn2+)) was varied from 0.33 to 0.67. La progressió del cicle cel.lular en les cèl.lules eucariotes es deu a l'activació seqüencial de diferents complexos CDK-ciclina. En Saccharomyces cerevisiae una sola CDK, Cdc28, s'associa amb nou ciclines diferents i és la ciclina la que determina la funció del complexe al llarg de cada fase del cicle cel.lular. Antecedents of intensified job demands : evidence from Austria

Purpose In order to understand the driving forces behind intensified job demands (IJDs), the purpose of this paper is to examine demographic factors, structural work-related factors, personal and job resources as antecedents of IJDs. Design/methodology/approach The study is based on cross-sectional (n=4,963) and longitudinal (n=2,055) quantitative data sets of Austrian employees. Data sets were analyzed via regression analyses. Female knowledge workers and the illusion of working-time autonomy

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to ask: what are the temporal realities of female knowledge workers? It especially focusses on women’s possibilities of using working-time autonomy, and the work and non-work practices that shape their possibility to use work-hour autonomy. In knowledge work, working-time autonomy is usually high, but exercising autonomy is not always possible. The study was carried out in Finland, where full-time work is common also among women, even if they have small children. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt Rīgas strūklakas no vides kvalitātes viedokļa, kā arī izvērtēt strūklaku apsaimniekošanas problēmas un sniegt rekomendācijas iespējamajiem risinājumiem. Mērķa sasniegšanai 2013. un 2014. gada vasarās tika apsekotas septiņas Rīgas darbojošās strūklakas, veikta strūklakas apmeklējošo cilvēku uzskaite un fotodokumentācija. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir novērtēt Zemgales centrālās daļas avotu ūdens ķīmisko sastāvu un salīdzināt to ar likumdošanā noteiktajām normām, kā arī noskaidrot cilvēku attieksmi saistībā ar avotu ūdeni un to izmantošanas iespējām.
