Kirjoittajat osallistuivat Liberin arkkitehtuuriryhmän järjestämään liber lag -seminaariin Itävallassa Wienissä 18.- 20.4. Seminaarissa esiteltiin arkkitehtonisiksi maamerkeiksi suunniteltuja vaikuttavia kirjastorakennuksia, mutta joukkoon mahtui myös vanhojen rakennusten uudistusprojekteja. Kautta esitysten punaisena lankana kulki pohdinta siitä, meneekö muoto käyttötarkoituksen edelle (”form over function”) vai voiko arkkitehtoninen maamerkki olla myös käytännöllinen? Roulza taisnīguma teorija un Sendela kritika: analīze un novērtējums

Dotā darba mērķis ir apskatīt, vai veids, kā Maikls Sendels kritizē Džona Roulza darbu „Taisnīguma teorija”, ir pārliecinošs. Darbs sastāv no trim daļām. Darba pirmajā daļā tiek aprakstīta Roulza tēze par to, ka cilvēki aiz neziņas plīvura piekritīs tiem principiem, kas nosaka sabiedrības pamatstruktūru, kā arī nodrošina vienlīdzības tiesības un brīvības un pieļauj tikai tās sociālās un ekonomiskās nevienlīdzības, kuras uzlabo mazāk veiksmīgo cilvēku pozīcijas. Darba otrajā daļā tiek aprakstīti Sendela iebildumi. Konstytucyjne wartości u progu ery sztucznej inteligencji

Artykuł prezentuje wartości konstytucyjne narażone na pogwałcenie ze strony rozwiązań wykorzystujących AI. W oparciu o metodę dogmatyczno-prawną poddano analizie poglądy polskiego prawa konstytucyjnego od przemian z 1989 r. W badaniu wpływu AI na przyjęte wartości wykorzystano literaturę przedmiotu, głównie z lat 2017–2020. Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja istotnych wartości konstytucyjnych narażonych na zagrożenia wynikające z rozwoju AI. Spośród wielu wartości konstytucyjnych wykazano, że kluczowe są godność człowieka oraz rządy prawa i demokracja jako najbardziej narażone na ingerencję ze strony AI. Traditional liberal education has provided one-size-fits-all schooling, followed by neoliberal policies in the past 30 years, resulting in losing the purpose of education to build well-rounded personalities and to ensure quality education for all. Instead, the ideal today is the homo economicus able to further personal goals on self-interest, and the global divide between the haves and have-nots has increased. Elisabeth is widely known as a critic of René Descartes' account of mind--body interaction and scholarly interpretations of her view on the will most often pose the question about the freedom of the will in relation to bodily impulses such as the passions. Il presente lavoro affronta la questione della presenza di simboli religiosi nello spazio pubblico, con particolare attenzione alla esposizione del crocifisso nelle aule scolastiche italiane. Com’è noto, la vicenda è stata oggetto di un’importante sentenza della Grande Camera della Corte europea dei diritti dell’Uomo. In Italia, il dibattito sul crocifisso ha dato origine a orientamenti giurisprudenziali e posizioni dottrinarie contrastanti.
