Kulttuuriradikalismi ja sukupolviargumentaatio ylioppilaslehdistössä 1960-1966

1960-luvun opiskelijaliikehdintä on herättänyt voimakkaita tunteita puolesta ja vastaan. Erikoislaatuisuuttaan korostanutta liikettä on tutkittu pääasiassa murroksena, vaikka tapahtumat olivat myös osa opiskelijoiden parissa jo pidemmän aikaa vaikuttanutta radikalismin jatkumoa. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkastellaankin juuri tätä radikalismin alkuvaihetta, niinsanottua kulttuuriradikalismia ja sen ilmenemismuotoja. Sekä tutkimuksissa että aikalaisten muistelmissa 60-luvun ilmiöiden keskeiseksi selittäjäksi on nostettu sukupolvien välinen ero. Ulla Huhtamäki tarkastelee tutkimuksessaan taidemaalari Kauko Lehtisen (s.1925) taiteen murrosta vuosina 1961-1965. Lehtinen lähti Pariisiin kevättalvella 1961 etsimään uusia vaikutteita muuttaakseen omaa työskentelytapaansa, joka oli alkanut tuntua ”nyppimiseltä”. Measuring higher-order cognitive skills with multiple choice questions:potentials and pitfalls of Finnish teacher education entrance

This mixed methods study examines the structure of the multiple-choice exam for student selection in Finnish teacher education. Through qualitative content analysis, we categorized multiple-choice ques-tions into items that assessed lower-and higher-order cognitive processes based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses yielded four factors that represented lower-and higher-order cognitive processing skills and comprehension of empirical and theoretical items. Negative effects of inattention on task performance can be seen in many contexts of society and human behavior, such as traffic, work, and sports. In traffic, inattention is one of the most frequently cited causal factors in accidents. In order to identify inattention and mitigate its negative effects, there is a need for quantifying attentional demands of dynamic tasks, with a credible basis in cognitive modeling and neuroscience.
