The lichen planus is a mucocutaneous disease with unknown etiology and auto-immune pathogenia. There have been three variants of lichen planus: the reticular, the plaque-like and the atrophic-erosive lesions. It?s a chronic disease with acute relapses that generally affects more frecuently to women from the fourties. The diagnostic is based on the clinic identification of the lesions joined with the histopathologic study (basal cells hidropic degeneration, linfoplasmocitic infiltration and absence of displasy signs). Sulla scorta del libro di Claude Calame intitolato "Prometeo genetista" e di cui l'A. ha curato parte della traduzione italiana, viene indagata l'ampia gamma di significati propri del termine greco "techne" e della corrispondente radice. Diazepāma ļoti mazu devu ietekme uz telpisko iemācīšanos un atmiņu alcheimera slimības streptozocīna modeļa žurkām

Šī daba mērķis bija pētīt diazepāma (DZP) iespējamo pozitīvo ietekmi uz telpisko iemācīšanos un atmiņu Alcheimera slimības (AD) streptozocīna (STZ) modeļa žurkām, rezultātus iegūstot Morisa ūdens labirinta testā. Iegūtie rezultāti rāda, ka diazepāms gan ļoti mazā devā (0,05 mg/kg), gan vidējā devā (1 mg/kg) būtiski uzlaboja AD modeļa žurku telpisko iemācīšanos un atmiņu. STZ izraisītajā AD modelī iegūtie dati varētu norādīt, ka diazepāma mazu un vidējo devu īstermiņa terapeitiska lietošana varētu būt labvēlīga atmiņas traucējumu novēršanai agrīnajā AD fāzē. Tomēr ir nepieciešami tālāki, padziļināti pētījumi, lai izskaidrotu šajā pētījumā iegūtos efektus.
Divu diazepāma devu ietekme uz Alcheimera slimības modeļa dzīvnieku sinaptisko plasticitāti un acetilholīna šķelšanu

Šī darba mērķis bija noteikt gamma-aminosviestskābes (GABA) receptora benzodiazepīna saita agonista diazepāma (DZP) ļoti zemas (0,05 mg/kg) un vidējās (1 mg/kg) devas efektus uz Alcheimera slimības (AD) modeļa žurku sinaptisko plasticitāti un acetilholīna šķelšanu. Rezultāti rāda, ka AD modeļa žurku smadzenēs tika būtiski samazināta sinaptofizīna-1 (SYP) ekspresija un būtiski pieauga acetilholīna šķelšanās. Ļoti zema (0,05 mg/kg) diazepāma deva spēja uzlabot sinaptisko plasticitāti, savukārt abas (0,05 mg/kg un 1 mg/kg) diazepāma devas būtiski normalizēja acetilholīna šķelšanos AD modeļa žurku garozā un hipokampā. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija izpētīt saistību starp stresa pārvaldīšanas stratēģijām, slimības uztveri un pašefektivitātes izjūtu cilvēkiem ar artrītu. Pētījumā piedalījās 75 dalībnieki vecumā no 18 līdz 70 gadiem. Tika izmantotas trīs aptaujas - slimības uztveres skala (Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (Brief IPQ); Weinman, Broadbent, Main, Petrie, 2006), īsā stresa pārvarēšanas aptauja (The Brief Cоping Оrientatiоn fоr Prоblem Experiences Inventоry, Carver, 1997), artrīta pašefektivitātes aptauja (Arthritis Self-Efficacy Scale (ASES-8); Lorig, Chastain, Ung, Shoor, & Holman, 1989).
