This paper proposes the application of artificial intelligence techniques for the identification of thermal anomalies that occur in a photovoltaic system due to malfunctions or faults, with the aim to limit the energy production losses by detecting faults at an early stage. The proposed approach is based on a Thermographic Non-Destructive Test conducted with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles equipped with a thermal imaging camera, which allows the detection of abnormal operating conditions without interrupting the normal operation of the PV system rapidly and cost-effectively. Le long de la bordure occidentale du bassin de Kandi, la sédimentation détritique continentale de base, correspondant à la formation de Wéré, est préservée dans des paléovallées limitées par des failles d'orientation moyenne N20°E, héritées de l'orogenèse panafricaine. Le remplissage sédimentaire de ces paléovallées est représenté par des dépôts conglomératiques et bréchiques de tills glaciaires marquant la base de la série, évoluant verticalement et latéralement vers l'Est à des grès fluviatiles. Ces dépôts continentaux, d'âge supposé ordovicien supérieur, passent verticalement à des grès tidaux et des grès et siltites subtidaux de la Formation de Kandi, d'âge ordovicien terminal à silurie…

Darbā ir aplūkoti divu tipu ekstrēmu uzdevumi saistībā ar kastēm: klasiskā tipa uzdevums par kastes tilpuma maksimizāciju, pastāvot zināmiem ierobežojumiem, un kombinatoriskās ģeometrijas uzdevums par kvadrātveida kastes maksimālo aizpildījumu jeb blīvāko pakojumu ar uzdota veida figūrām. Uzdevumu risināšanā un grafisku attēlu iegūšanā izmantotas gan iebūvētās funkcijas programmu paketē MATLAB R2015a, gan arī izstrādāts programmas kods, kas paredzēts tetramino N pakošanas problēmas risināšanai.
Qualitative analysis of housing demand using Google trends data

Big data analytics often refer to the breakdown of huge amounts of data into a more readable and useful format. This study utilises Google Trends big data as a proxy for an analysis of housing demand. We employ a qualitative method (fuzzy set/Qualitative Comparative Analysis, fsQCA), instead of a quantitative method, for our estimate and forecast. The empirical results show that fsQCA successfully forecasts seasonal time series, even though the dataset is small in size. Our findings fill the gap in the qualitative and time series forecasting literature, and the forecasting procedure herein also offers a good standard for industry.
