The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of Formagraph to determine the milk clotting activity of animal Sicilian rennet pastes. Clotting time (r), curd firming time (k20) and curd firmness (a30) were measured during coagulation tests carried out with pasteurized cows’ milk. The rennet paste samples were collected in 11 dairy factories located throughout western Sicily. Although an increasing number of horizontal gene transfers have been reported in eukaryotes, experimental evidence for their adaptive value is lacking. Here, we report the recent transfer of a 158-kb genomic region between Torulaspora microellipsoides and Saccharomyces cerevisiae wine yeasts or closely related strains. This genomic region has undergone several rearrangements in S. cerevisiae strains, including gene loss and gene conversion between two tandemly duplicated FOT genes encoding oligopeptide transporters. En este artículo, se describe la utilización de este tipo de órdenes en el mercado español de acciones. Se muestra que una de cada cinco transacciones realizadas en el mercado español implica la detección de volumen oculto. This article discusses the use of innovative transparent materials in residential buildings with low energetic consumption and describes a simulation of their performance during winter. The behaviour of these materials was studied both from a thermic point of view and from the point of view of the quality of daylight illumination To simulate the behaviour of these materials, we used different forecasting software to measure and, at the same time, analyse their luminosity, their thermal characteristics and the resulting energy saving. El mercurio es un metal tóxico ampliamente distribuido en el medioambiente. Las formas químicas mayoritarias en los alimentos son el mercurio mercúrico [Hg(II)] y el metilmercurio (CH3Hg). La principal vía de exposición para el ser humano la constituye la dieta, siendo los productos pesqueros los que mayor aporte de mercurio realizan. Teniendo en cuenta que la principal vía de exposición al mercurio es la oral, el tracto gastrointestinal se considera la puerta de entrada de este tóxico al organismo.
