Tässä tutkielmassa tutkittiin fyysisen aktiivisuuden käyttöä ruotsinopetuksessa yläkoulussa ja lukiossa. Tarkoituksenamme oli selvittää, hyödynnetäänkö liikettä ja liikkumista ruotsin oppitunneilla ja millä tavoin. Lisäksi halusimme saada selville, tukeeko tai kannustaako ruotsin kielen tunneilla käytetty oppimateriaali oppilaita fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen ruotsin opiskelun yhteydessä. Tutkielman aineisto koostui kahdesta osasta: neljästä B1-ruotsin oppikirjasarjasta sekä viiden ruotsinopettajan teemahaastatteluista. Tutkimusintressini oli kuvata ryhmätyönohjauksen aloituksia institutionaalisina keskustelutilanteina. Kysyin aineistoltani, miten ja millaisen osallistumisen kehyksen työnohjaaja loi ryhmänsä kanssa työnohjausistunnon alussa. Aineisto koostui neljästä ääni- ja videotallennetusta kokeneen psykologin/ työnohjaajan työnohjauskeskustelusta hoitotyönjohtajien ryhmätyönohjauksessa. Gut microbiome and atrial fibrillation - results from a large population-based study

Background Atrial fibrillation (AF) is an important heart rhythm disorder in aging populations. The gut microbiome composition has been previously related to cardiovascular disease risk factors. Whether the gut microbial profile is also associated with the risk of AF remains unknown. Methods We examined the associations of prevalent and incident AF with gut microbiota in the FINRISK 2002 study, a random population sample of 6763 individuals. We replicated our findings in an independent case–control cohort of 138 individuals in Hamburg, Germany. Olfactory cues and the value of information : Voles interpret cues differently based on recent predator encounters

Prey strategically respond to the risk of predation by varying their behavior while balancing the tradeoffs of food and safety. We present here an experiment that tests the way the same indirect cues of predation risk are interpreted by bank voles, Myodes glareolus, as the game changes through exposure to a caged weasel. Using optimal patch use, we asked wild-caught voles to rank the risk they perceived. We measured their response to olfactory cues in the form of weasel bedding, a sham control in the form of rabbit bedding, and an odor-free control. Management groups are an essential part of the management system in Finnish hospitals. Nevertheless, only a few empirical studies have, to date, focused on public sector management teams. This study aims to understand social interaction in management team meetings by describing 1) how management team members participate during meetings and 2) what types of participant roles are constructed during meetings.
