The aim of this paper is to realize a comparative analysis of the possibilities offered using estimation techniques, balances, and filtering techniques such as the Kalman filter (KF) and the extended Kalman filter (EKF), to obtain indirect information about the alcoholic fermentation process during winemaking. En una geografía como la nuestra, donde los musulmanes todavía conservan un importante peso demográfico durante el siglo XV, el desarrollo de ciertas actividades productivas en sus manos resulta algo necesario. Las labores del campo posiblemente fueran las tareas más inmediatas de buena parte de la población, tanto cristiana como musulmana, pero el desarrollo de esas otras actividades paralelas, en el caso ahora presentado la alfarería, dotaron al grupo musulmán de una cierta especificidad dentro del devenir económico del Alto Palancia.

This study explores the use of WhatsApp instant messenger in extended families in two countries, Finland and Italy, that represent different family and communication cultures. Qualitative research material was collected in 2014/2015 from families consisting of three or more generations and living either in the same or different households. A directed approach to qualitative content analysis was applied in the analysis of the research data. The results of the study show that WhatsApp is considered to facilitate family interaction across generations. Existence for shape optimization problems in arbitrary dimension

We discuss some existence results for optimal design problems governed by second order elliptic equations with the homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions or with the interior transmission conditions. We show that our continuity hypotheses for the unknown boundaries yield the compactness of the associated characteristic functions, which, in turn, guarantees convergence of any minimizing sequences for the first problem. In the second case, weaker assumptions of measurability type are shown to be sufficient for the existence of the optimal material distribution. We impose no restriction on the dimension of the underlying Euclidean space.
