Ilmanlaadun seurannan kehittämistarpeet : esimerkkitapaus Pirkanmaa

Tässä tutkimuksessa kartoitettiin ilmanlaadun tilaa Pirkanmaalla 2000-luvulla, selvitettiin sen seurannan tarvetta ja esitettiin erilaisia kehitysehdotuksia ilmanlaadun parantamiseksi alueella. Päästötietoja tutkittiin niin liikenteen, energiantuotannon ja teollisuuden kuin maataloudenkin osalta. Liikenteen päästötiedot saatiin VTT:n LIPASTO-järjestelmästä, energiantuotannon ja teollisuuden tiedot ympäristöhallinnon VAHTI-järjestelmästä ja maa-talouden päästötiedot taas ympäristöhallinnon Hertta-järjestelmästä. Bakalaura darbs „Īsta un fiktīva telpa vācu eksprisionisma filmā” ir veltīts režisora Frīdriha Vilhelma Murnau visā pasaulē pazīstamajai vācu eksprisionisma filmai „Nosferatu:šausmu simfonija”. Risk aversion connectedness in five European countries

Abstract In this paper we compute an aggregate index of risk aversion and indices of vulnerability and the contribution to systemic risk aversion for five European countries. The variance risk premium proxies risk aversion. The contribution to the literature is twofold. First, this is the first study estimating not only the common component, but also indices of directional connectedness among variance risk premia. Second, it is the first to estimate the interconnections by means of a FIVAR model, in order to account for long memory. Acute hemorrhagic edema of infancy (AHEI) was considered a rare form of Henoch-Schönlein purpura; however, it is now regarded as an independent disease typically involving patients aged 4-24 months. The authors describe the clinical case of a toddler aged 8 months, with skin erythematous pomphoid<b> </b>lesions, treated at home with topical steroids without benefits. The appearance of new lesions and the worsening of the previous skin signs induced the parents to drive the child to the hospital. The medical history revealed the administration of a vaccine dose 2 months before.
Adequate vitamin B12 and folate status of Norwegian vegans and vegetarians

AbstractPlant-based diets may increase the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency due to limited intake of animal-source foods, while dietary folate increases when adhering to plant-based diets. In this cross-sectional study, we evaluated the B12 and folate status of Norwegian vegans and vegetarians using dietary B12 intake, B12 and folic acid supplement use, and biomarkers (serum B12 (B12), plasma total homocysteine (tHcy), plasma methylmalonic acid (MMA) and serum folate). Different positioning techniques have been largely adopted for maritime applications that require high accuracy kinematic positioning. The main objective of the paper is the performance assessment of a Single Point Positioning algorithm (SPP), with a Kalman filter (KF) estimator, adapted for maritime applications. The KF has been chosen as estimation technique due to the ability to consider both the state vector dynamic and the measurements.
