Scrum- ja XP-käytänteiden käyttö : haastattelututkimus

Tässä tutkielmassa tutkitaan kahden ketterän menetelmän, Scrumin ja XP:n, käytänteiden käyttöä suomalaisissa ohjelmistoalan yrityksissä. Tarkoituksena on selvittää, mitä käytänteitä käytetään ja millä tavalla, millaisia kokemuksia niistä on saatu ja miten kokemukset vertautuvat aiempien tutkimusten tuloksiin. Tutkimus koostuu kahdesta osasta. Ensimmäisessä osassa on rakennettu työlle ketterää lähestymistapaa, ketteriä menetelmiä ja käytänteitä koskeva käsitteellinen perusta ja esitellään alan aiempia tuloksia. Atzīmējot Andreja Pumpura eposa “Lāčplēsis” 135. gadadienu, kas aprit 2023. gada jūnijā, Humanitāro zinātņu bibliotēkā tika izveidota izstāde "Lāčplēša tēma latviešu apziņā, literatūrā, mākslā un LU mācībspēku pētījumos". Eposs tika publicēts 1888. gada jūnijā saistībā ar Trešo Vispārējo latviešu dziesmu svētku norisēm. Darbs tapis, sintezējot teikas, pasakas un laikabiedru priekšstatus par senatni, saskaņā ar 19. gs. nacionālā romantisma idejām Eiropā laikā, kad eposa esamība tika uztverta kā nācijas eksistences apliecinājums. Riemannian metric of the averaged energy minimization problem in orbital transfer with low thrust

Abstract This article deals with the optimal transfer of a satellite between Keplerian orbits using low propulsion and is based on preliminary results of Epenoy et al. (1997) where the optimal trajectories of the energy minimization problem are approximated using averaging techniques. The averaged Hamiltonian system is explicitly computed. It is related to a Riemannian problem whose distance is an approximation of the value function. The extremal curves are analyzed, proving that the system remains integrable in the coplanar case. On local optima in minimum time control of the restricted three-body problem

Several homotopies are systematically used to unfold the structure of these local minimizers, and the resulting singularity of the path associated with the value function is analyzed numerically.

Monotone Concave Operators: An application to the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the Bellman equation

We propose a new approach to the issue of existence and uniqueness of solutions to the Bellman equation, exploiting an emerging class of methods, called monotone map methods, pioneered in the work of Krasnosel’skii (1964) and Krasnosel’skii-Zabreiko (1984). The approach is technically simple and intuitive. It is derived from geometric ideas related to the study of fixed points for monotone concave operators defined on partially order spaces.

Tracking in Presence of Total Occlusion and Size Variation using Mean Shift and Kalman Filter

International audience; The classical mean shift algorithm for tracking in perfectly arranged conditions constitutes a good object tracking method. However, in the real environment it presents some limitations, especially under the presence of noise, objects with varying size, or occlusions. In order to deal with these problems, this paper proposes a reliable object tracking algorithm using mean shift and the Kalman filter, which was added to the traditional algorithm as a predictor when no reliable model of the object being tracked is found. AbstractA new study of the patere baccellate from the Tomba del carrettino at Ca’ Morta offers the opportunity to re-examine the typology of the ribbed bowls of Vetulonia/Colmar type and to re-evaluate their funerary contexts. These vessels appear in central and southern Etruria at the end of the eighth and the beginning of the seventh century BC, the site of Vetulonia being considered as their main production site.Ferdinando Sciacca’s (2005) classification of the ribbed bowls of Vetulonia/Colmar type is supported by solid evidence ; it has advanced the subject significantly, but Sciacca’s model nevertheless raises some questions in terms of the hierarchy of the criteria that were chosen.Du…
