The dynamics of this thesis resides in the search for the breach between the historical positioning (in relation to scientific fact itself) of homeopathic medication in the history of medical sciences, and the representation made of it in the past and present. By distinguishing what may be at stake, we are led to identify the positioning and impact of the mode of transmitting scientific fact as lacking a historical link to the history of medical sciences, notably medication. Our research hypothesis thus postulates that the transmission mode is at the source of discrepancies in representation. Abstract Constituting the key element of a democratic system, political parties are among entities obliged by the Polish legislator to comply with the principle of disclosure by providing public information. The main objective of this paper is to determine the level of Polish political parties’ disclosure, understood here as their willingness to disclose information on their own structures. Abstract The paper aims to capture a form of naturalism that can be found “built-in” in phenomenology, namely the idea to take science or mathematics on its own, without postulating extraneous normative “molds” on it. The paper offers a detailed comparison of Penelope Maddy’s naturalism about mathematics and Husserl’s approach to mathematics in Formal and Transcendental Logic (1929). It argues that Maddy’s naturalized methodology is similar to the approach in the first part of the book. Search for photonic signatures of gauge-mediated supersymmetry in 8TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector

A search is presented for photonic signatures motivated by generalized models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. This search makes use of 20.3 fb[superscript −1] of proton-proton collision data at √s = 8 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC, and explores models dominated by both strong and electroweak production of supersymmetric partner states. Four experimental signatures incorporating an isolated photon and significant missing transverse momentum are explored. These signatures include events with an additional photon, lepton, b-quark jet, or jet activity not associated with any specific underlying quark flavor. Un códice desconocido del Doctrinal de los cavalleros de Alfonso de Cartagena

Se describe el manuscrito del Doctrinal de los cavalleros de Alfonso de Cartagena conservado en el Archivo Nacional de Praga, desconocido hasta el momento por editores y estudiosos de la obra del humanista, pese a haber sido ya identficado correctamente en 1984. De entre los 17 manuscritos del siglo siglo XV, más dos del siglo XVI y dos incunables, que constituyen la trasmisión manuscrita e impresa de la obra, el manuscrito descrito es uno de los más relevantes, por razones artísticas y filológicas. No sólo su factura es bellísima, realizada sobre pergamino y con iluminaciones, sino que ofrece lecturas convincentes para solucionar algún pasaje difícil. Se incluyen fotografías del manuscrito.
