On heavy baryon decay form factors
1991
We consider in detail the consequences of the heavy quark mass limit in the weak decay of 1/2+ heavy baryons to 1/2+ and 3/2+ heavy baryon final states. We also analyze heavy baryon to light baryon transitions as well ase+e−-annihilation into heavy baryon-antibaryonpairs. We discuss possible approximations to the most general approach and some of their implications for future experiments.
The Crossing Symmetric Bethe-Salpeter Equation
1972
As you may recall from the lectures of Prof. Sand-has [1], in non-relativistic quantum theory, the scattering amplitude satisfies the Lippmann-Schwinger equation, $$T = V + V{G_o}T$$ (1) It can be explicitly shown that if V=V+, T satisfies the elastic unitarity relation, Im T=TT+.
Scattering of unstable particles in a finite volume: The case ofπρscattering and thea1(1260)resonance
2012
We present a way to evaluate the scattering of unstable particles quantized in a finite volume with the aim of extracting physical observables for infinite volume from lattice data. We illustrate the method with the $\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\rho}$ scattering which generates dynamically the axial-vector ${a}_{1}(1260)$ resonance. Energy levels in a finite box are evaluated both considering the $\ensuremath{\rho}$ as a stable and unstable resonance and we find significant differences between both cases. We discuss how to solve the problem to get the physical scattering amplitudes in the infinite volume, and hence phase shifts, from possible lattice results on energy levels quantized insid…
EXTRACTION OF THE Λ(1405) POLES FROM π0Σ0 PHOTOPRODUCTION DATA
2014
In this contribution we review a work where we showed how to extract the position of the two Λ(1405) poles from experimental photoproduction data which have been measured recently in the γp → K+π0Σ0 reaction at Jefferson Lab. Using a potential motivated by chiral dynamics but with free parameters, we solve the Bethe Salpeter equation in the coupled channels [Formula: see text] and πΣ in isospin I=0 and parameterize the amplitude for the photonuclear reaction in terms of a linear combination of the πΣ → πΣ and [Formula: see text] scattering amplitudes in I=0, with a different linear combination for each energy. Good fits to the data are obtained which lead to two poles at 1385 - 68i MeV and…
Pozitīvas uzvedības veicināšana bērniem Rīgas X dienas centrā
2019
Linda Daniela. Darbā izvirzīti pieci uzdevumi: analizēt teorētisko literatūru par pozitīvas uzvedības veidošanās nosacījumiem, analizēt teorētisko literatūru par darbu ar sociālā riska ģimenēm, apzināt situāciju Rīgas X dienas centrā uzvedības problemātikas aspektā, veikt pedagoģisko izmēģinājumdarbību pozitīvas uzvedības veicināšanai Rīgas X dienas centrā, izvērtēt un analizēt iegūtos rezultātus.
From the shade into the sun: exploring pride and shame in students with special needs in Finnish VET
2021
This paper reports on a study of the dynamics of social emotions and social bonds between students and class teachers by analysing the narratives of students receiving intensive special support in the Finnish vocational education and training (VET) system. Pride refers to a strong and safe involvement in interaction, and shame implies intimidated social bonds. The analysis is based on abductive content analysis for which Greimas’ actant model worked as an analysis tool. We found some students showing high respect to their teachers who acted as senders setting the objects for students’ studying. Pride is based on the students’ experiences in achieving the objects, thereby pleasing their teac…
Priekšējo mēleņu (svelpeņu) izrunas traucējumu novēršana vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem
2018
Diplomdarba temats – Priekšējo mēleņu (svelpeņu) izrunas traucējumu novēršana vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem. Darba autore – Linda Brante Darba zinātniskais vadītājs – Mg. paed. Irēna Miltiņa Pētījuma mērķis – Teorētiski izzināt un praktiski vērtēt rotaļu, vingrinājumu izmantošanas iespējas svelpeņu izrunas sekmēšanai. Pētījuma hipotēze – Koriģējoši attīstošā darbība būs sekmīga, ja logopēds izzinās bērna attīstības un runas īpatnības, atlasīs un izmantos vingrinājumus un rotaļas, ievērojot bērna speciālās vajadzības. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek analizēta zinātniskā literatūra par vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu attīstības īpatnībām, raksturotas pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu runas attīstības likum…
Isobaric Vapor−Liquid Equilibria for the Binary System 3-Methylpentane + 2-Methyl-2-propanol and for the Ternary System Methyl 1,1-Dimethylethyl Ethe…
1999
Isobaric vapor−liquid equilibria data were obtained for the 3-methylpentane + 2-methyl-2-propanol binary system and methyl 1,1-dimethylethyl ether + 3-methylpentane + 2-methyl-2-propanol ternary system at 101.3 kPa in a temperature range from 329 to 356 K. The data were found to be thermodynamically consistent according to the Van Ness−Byer−Gibbs method for the binary system and according to the McDermott−Ellis method for the ternary one. The binary system shows a minimum boiling azeotrope that boils at 333.4 K and contains 82.6 mol % of 3-methylpentane. The binary interaction parameters obtained from this work and literature data are used to predict the vapor−liquid equilibrium for the ter…

Un lieu de culte monumental gaulois dans le Mercantour : le site de la Cime de la Tournerie (commune de Roubion, Alpes-Maritimes)
2019
International audience; In the Southern Alps, the site of la Cime de La Tournerie, established on a mount peaking at an altitude of 1 816 m, is a monumental place of worship of the early second Iron Age. This site is caracterised by a network of concentric walls and ditches surronding a 500 m2 platform marked out by a monumental wall. Excavations conducted from 2014 to 2017 uncovered weapons, jewelry, remains of banquet, human bones, elements of monumental masonry and a Massaliot monetary storage of the third century BC.
