International audience; IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a fibro-inflammatory disorder involving virtually every organ with a risk of organ dysfunction. Despite recent studies regarding B cell and T cell compartments, the disease's pathophysiology remains poorly understood. We examined and characterized subsets of circulating lymphocytes in untreated patients with active IgG4-RD. Twenty-eight consecutive patients with biopsy-proven IgG4-RD were included in a prospective, multicentric study. Summary Interleukin (IL)-9 is a 28-30 kDa monomeric glycosylated polypeptide belonging to the IL-7/IL-9 family of proteins that bind to a composite receptor consisting of the private receptor IL-9R and the IL-2 receptor, gamma (IL-2RG), a common gamma subunit shared by the receptors of many different cytokines. Recently T-helper 17 (Th17) cells were demonstrated to disrupt the blood-brain barrier (BBB) by the action of IL-17A. The aim of the present study was to examine the mechanisms that underlie IL-17A-induced BBB breakdown. This paper reports experimental densities, viscosities, and refractive indices of the binary systems methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) + 2-methylpentane, + 3-methylpentane, + 2,3-dimethylpentane, and + 2,2,4-trimethylpentane over the entire range of composition, at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. Excess molar volumes and viscosity deviations were evaluated from the experimental data. These excess or derived properties were fitted to the Redlich−Kister equation to estimate the binary interaction parameters. The experimental values of viscosity have been compared to values predicted by means of the GC−UNIMOD model.

We present here a new selection criterion for prioritizing research on efficacious drugs for the fight against COVID-19: the relative toxicity versus safety of herbal medications, which were effective against SARS in the 2002/2003 epidemic. We rank these medicines according to their toxicity versus safety as basis for preferential rapid research on their potential in the treatment of COVID-19. The data demonstrate that from toxicological information nothing speaks against immediate investigation on, followed by rapid implementation of Lonicera japonica, Morus alba, Forsythia suspensa, and Codonopsis spec. for treatment of COVID-19 patients. Abstract Consistent vapour–liquid equilibrium data for the ternary systems diisopropyl ether + isopropyl alcohol + 2,2,4-trimethylpentane and diisopropyl ether + isopropyl alcohol + n-heptane are reported at 101.3 kPa. The vapour–liquid equilibrium data have been correlated by Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC equations. The ternary systems do not present ternary azeotropes.

Abstract Consistent vapor–liquid equilibria (VLE) at 101.3 kPa has been determined for the ternary system 3-methylpentane+diisopropyl ether (DIPE)+methylcyclohexane and the binary subsystems 3-methylpentane+methylcyclohexane and DIPE+methylcyclohexane in the temperature range from 336 to 374 K. According to the experimental results, the systems exhibit slight positive deviation from ideal behavior and no azeotrope is present. The VLE data have been correlated with the composition using the Wilson, UNIQUAC and NRTL relations. These models allow good prediction of the VLE properties of the ternary system from those of the pertinent binary subsystems.
