Conservation and management of shark populations is increasingly becoming important in many marine regions, since there is a growing body of evidence showing that several species are threatened and continuing to decline because of unregulated fishing. Quantifying the extent of sharks' decline, the risk of species extinction, and the consequences for marine ecosystems have been challenging and controversial, mostly due to data limitations. Afektīvā stāvokļa atpazīšana pieaugušo runā izmantojot balss augstumu un balss intensitāti

Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot saistību starp afektīvo stāvokli un balss augstumu; saistību starp afektīvo stāvokli un balss intensitāti; atšķirības starp afektīvo stāvokli un balss augstumu atkarībā no stāstījuma; atšķirības starp afektīvo stāvokli un balss intensitāti atkarībā no stāstījuma; atšķirības afektīvajā stāvoklī pirms un pēc pozitīva un negatīva stāstījuma. Pētījumā piedalījās 65 dalībnieki, 26 (40%) vīrieši un 39 (60%) sievietes, dalībnieki bija vecumā no 19–53 gadiem (M = 30,06; SD = 8,14). Autors ar šī pētījuma mērķi vēlas noskaidrot, kāds ir bijis iemesls šādas kolektīvās inteliģences platformas izveidei un to, vai platforma ir sasniegusi savu dibināšanas mērķi. Darba gaitā tika noskaidrots, kas ir kolektīvā inteliģence un tās sniegtās iespējas. Ar interviju palīdzību, tika veikts ManaBalss.lv platformas izvērtējums – tās mērķis, vai mērķis ir sasniegts, vai platforma veicina pilsoņu līdzdalību demokrātiskajos procesos. Darba gaitā izvirzītā hipotēze apstiprinājās – kolektīvās inteliģences platforma ManaBalss.lv ir sasniegusi savus mērķus.

This paper introduces two general models for computing centiles when the response variable Y can take values between 0 and 1, inclusive of 0 or 1. The models developed are more flexible alternatives to the beta inflated distribution. The first proposed model employs a flexible four parameter logit skew Student t (logitSST) distribution to model the response variable Y on the unit interval (0, 1), excluding 0 and 1. This model is then extended to the inflated logitSST distribution for Y on the unit interval, including 1.
